- Mandalorian Steel: Kreslin created Oritsir with a coating of Mandalorian Steel around the outside of the weapon, giving the pistol added protection from kinetic and energy based damage, as well as allowing him to use it as a melee defense weapon in a fight.
- Alternate Fire: Oritsir is capable of switching between laser shots and ion shots, allowing him to effectively handle biological and mechanical threats as needed in an engagement.
- Rate of Fire: The rate of fire for Oritsir is rather low, as the weapon needs time to recharge between each shot, as well as switch between the two alternate ammunition types.
- Overheat: The sheer power within the Oritsir for each shot leads the weapon to having issues with overheating in an extended combat situation, and too much use without maintenance can warp the barrel of the pistol in relatively short order.
While moving into the Bastion of Steel, his new home on Mandalore, Kreslin Westwind came across the schematics for a weapon under construction by the United Clans of Mandalore. He decided to finish the weapon, naming the blaster pistol Oritsir, or Curse in galactic basic. He would paint it in various shades of black and gold, as he intends to use it to bring vengeance to his enemies, and bring to justice those who have wronged his people.
