- Holocron Name: The Complete Guide to the Orron Form
- Alignment: The holocron was created by the Jedi, though as a compilation of works from Jedi and Imperial Knights it is not specifically aligned to any Force doctrine.
- Origin: The holocron was created by a mid-3rd Century ABY Jedi Master by the name of Teran Mon, who compiled every known piece of information he could find on the form into The Complete Guide.
- Affiliation: Two copies of the holocron exist, the original being in the possession of the Ashlan Crusade having been taken from the Jedi Temple on Coruscant by the exiled followers of the deposed Cedric Grayson. The second holocron has been in the possession of Bastion’s Imperial Library since it was gifted to the Imperial Knights by the Jedi centuries ago
- Gatekeeper: The Gatekeeper of the holocron appears as the scholar Teran Mon, a Human who at the time of recording the holocron was well into his 90s. Despite his age, Mon was always a renowned duelist and his drive to understand all forms of lightsaber combat kept him vigorous as an elder. His soft and wise tone developed over years of training younglings and padawans makes the holocron very approachable, and Mon appears heavily throughout the holocron, annotating information from his personal experiences.
- Description: The holocron, as the name suggests, contains the complete codification of Orron form, a style specifically developed for saber and shield fighting. Physically, the holocron takes the rather odd shape of a skinny rectangular prism, about a foot long and a couple of inches wide. The sides of the holocron are a metal lattice of shields and swords, while the core glows blue, the traditional color of the Jedi Guardian school of thought.
- Accessibility: The holocron has no security measures, and the knowledge is free to anyone seeking to learn the form.

CONTENT INFORMATION
The Complete Guide to the Orron Form is the most comprehensive and annotated work in history regarding the relatively obscure lightsaber form known as the Way of the Stone and to a lesser extent the Way of the Vonduun. It contains a compilation of treatises from throughout recorded history, though most of the content is centered around a few centuries of resurgence in the form.
The form is generally regarded as the most defensive form. Practitioners of Orron are most often adept practitioners of Forms II (Makashi) and III (Soresu). The subtle and graceful movements of Makashi dueling are key for shield-users, who need to remain balanced in the face of enemy onslaughts. From Soresu the style borrows tight movements and a focus on maximizing defensiveness.
Critics of the style (mostly hardline advocates of Soresu) often chastise it for its lack of focus on the lightsaber, and Orron practitioners uphold that though they give up the defensive capabilities of their sabers in favour of their shields, sabers take on an increased focus in attack.
Attacks in Orron form are meant to be precise, fast, and generally rely on stabbing motions. Large shields that offer the widest area of protection can also become hindrances for a wielder’s range of motion, thus Orron has a heavy focus on counter attacks and striking from around a users bulwark.
Because both of a user's hands are occupied, the form isolates users from many offensive Force abilities, and the form’s reliance on sturdy defense make acrobatic or movement based Force powers useless. Orron practitioners most often become adept at using mind enhancing powers, such as those that boost perception or physical abilities like strength and endurance. Battlemind and Battle Meditation have been common abilities paired with the fighting style.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Orron Form was officially established during a period of Jedi combat reform at the start of the Clone Wars, and developed by enterprising masters in the battlefield throughout. However it was short-lived, and the Jedi Purge by the Galactic Empire wiped out all of the form’s users. The Jedi Order under Luke Skywalker saw a rediscovery of the form as an excellent counter to the Yuuzhan Vong. The war with the Vong saw the form acquire its second moniker, the Way of the Vonduun, named after the near impervious crabs the Vong used to make their armour. The form continued in relative obscurity following the invasion, though practitioners were always among the first to be called when remnant Vong began to cause trouble.
The form came into mainstream use with the advent of the Imperial Knights, who had independently developed a tradition of shield use within their defensive fighting form Praetoria Ishu. When the Jedi and Imperial Knights began working together after the defeat of Darth Krayt, the knowledge of Orron was passed onto the Knights.
The form remained common through the existence of the Fel Empire, leading Jedi Scholar Teran Mon to officially codify it in 249 ABY. Two copies of Mon’s holocron were made, one to remain in the possession of the Jedi and one to be gifted to the Empire. Both holocrons remained in their original vaults recently, when in the wake of Cedric Grayson’s deposition from the throne of Coruscant the Jedi holocron was taken by Essonian Knights, many of whom had adopted the style in their fight against the Sith. With the formation of the Ashlan Crusade and the New Imperial Knights, Orron is seeing a resurgence like never before. Its usage in the Third Imperial Civil War has cemented it as a valuable skill to possess in the fight against the Sith.
