- Armament: The large number of launchers combined with the pair of flexible autocannons makes this gunship a threat to even the most heavily armoured fortifications and gives it the ability to wipe out armoured columns single handedly, and when armed with torpedoes can even smash corvettes.
- Armour: Most smaller dedicated dogfighters don't have the firepower to reliably damage an Osprey, but sustained incoming fire will eventually still destroy the gunship.
- Garbage truck with wings: The gunship is very unwieldy and can be easily out turned by nearly anything smaller than it.
- Slash and burn: High speed, high armament interceptors are the bane of the Osprey due to its low number of turrets and restricted firing arcs.
Designed as a way to support armoured and infantry formations in the destruction of fortifications and a way to easily disrupt supply lines the Osprey is a large and very heavily armed dedicated gunship. The large crew for its role allows for the engagement of multiple targets simultaneously and extended operations as long as it is supplied with ammunition. The gunship is fairly vulnerable to interceptors due to their combination of speed and heavy armament but many smaller dogfighters don't have the armament to single handedly destroy a Osprey.
