Just a running note-book for progress on ideas. Feel free to take these and run with them, or if one interests you, contact me and I can bump it through the rotation to try and get it done quicker. Also feel free to suggest new materials or animals that might be the source for more fun trinkets.

Possible Animal Pieces To Alchemize:
Following are creatures native to Dathomir who have attributes that might be nice to preserve in armor or other artifacts.
  • Kodashi Viper - Stealth/Hunter Aspect. Hooded long jerkin (sleeveless) which helps enable greater stealth, possibly imbue pockets with ability to add virulence to stored poisons inside them.
  • Rancor / Terentatek - Imbued bone bracers (rancor for initiates, terentatek for Elders or such) which grant a large boost to the wearers strength, and are class 6-7 armor ("heavy" armor for us). Terentatek fangs can be preserved and used as knife blades, with an imbued spell to generate poison. See lightsaber in sig for ideas. Medium armor set of Terentatek Hide and Bone for 'Heavy' Troops.
  • Rhoa Kwi - Use preserved/imbued glands set in rancor bone or terentatek ivoy coated with null resin. The gland can secret a poison. Might be particularly useful for spears, make it spray the poison when it gets within 'X' meters of anything living, or after the spear head contacts a solid surface. Alternately can just engineer a poison from just this, or a blend of several poisonous native creatures for a Dathomirian Assassin poison.
  • Ssurian/Great Dragon - The idea here is to imbue the hide for a tougher, thick and more 'mass produced' garment for us to wear in direct combat. Their fangs can be made as a single-use armor piercing knife, spear or the like. With imbuement, they would probably pierce Class 7 or 8 (including restricted mats) but shatter after penetration was retrieved due to fragility. A one and done item.
  • Whuffa Worm - Light armor material. Class 3-4. Once imbued, grants a moderate to strong boost to speed and agility of wearer.
  • Sarlaac - Imbued tentacles function as very tough whips that can, with a particular motion, thought, or incantment double or triple in size when they and snapped/cracked. Extremely strong (minor lightsaber resistance?). Harvest the neurotoxin to add to Sssurian made daggers or spear-tips.

What about a part whuffa worm, part kodashi viper gear set? Minor stealth bonuses, helps you move quicker and faster than the beasts you tame... If they are looking right at you, they see you obviously. But running through the jungle, or trying to be sneaky, would be obscenely hard. Could even add something that limits or diffuses your scent, for when taming/stalking predators (or fleeing them). Just for an outift...

Then say... A set of terentatek or rancor bone bangles to help you wrangle said beasties on your own a bit better. Stanard 'Charm of the Rancor' for a minor strength boost. 2x, maybe 3x max strength... One could even set a gem on each bangle that exudes a concentrated form of Animal Friendship type powers (or whatever similar you know) created by your blood on the gems. Needs a recharge (similar to the velokrons of @Dissero). But lets you have a bit more ease controlling(in a one-shot on demand form before recharge) a beasty in a tight situation.

And a signature weapon of a sarlaac tentacle imbued with a sort of dominate mind and/or animal friendship ability, Nothing more special about it other than a terentatek ivory handle with electrum detailing, the tentacle ideas listed in the OP, and a small gem that creates a limited Force Nexus that boosts abilities associated with a Beast Tamer like yourself?

Those are my ideas for you anyhow.
 
New toy idea..... For when we run into Sith and their spawn/creations...

Light-Sided "Holy Oil":

Brewed with Ankarres honey as a mead, powdered solari crystal imbued via Jal Shey techniques similar to grip of enlightenment or robes made, then added to Ankarres mead. That mixture blended with Dathomirian "water of life" for healing. Ankarres wood tube to rest in/be carried in, maybe with an obscure imbuement like the scrimshaw tradition (gessaril?) to keep it pure. Thin, crushable tube. Pull from a metal holder and smack/crush against target. Could even light it on fire for theatrical effect. Limited production. Effects are a sort of powerful dispell initiator and pain/reversion for sithspawn, and weakening of sith alchemy.

The effect is like the grip of englightenment or robe of remembrance, with the "healing" or "reversion" effects. But localized, due to method of delivery being it crushed against the skin. The solari powder enhances that, and burns Dark Sided things to help distract the spawn/target. If it got in an open wound, or was injected, effects would be less powerful due to spread, but systemic rather than local. It's taking the spawn back to it's base state in aim. Realistically a single vial will hurt and weaken. And it might lessen the virility of a poison if crushed on a stinger, for instance, or tail w/ stinger. Or lessen Force resistance on a patch of terentatek hide.
