- The OtherSlip hyperdrive add-on will allow a starship to navigate and force itself to enter Otherspace through either beacons found in Otherspace while engaged in hyperspace.
- If there is no hyperspace beacon, it can change realities by simple letting the hyperdrive charge up before pulling a lever to change into Otherspace. This is more or less, not recommended.
- To Go Where Others Have Gone Before!: It allows others to go into Otherspace, to finally explore and have a save way through the different reality. This can be simply added onto any hyperdrive without fail.
- Hyperspace Beacon Activated: It allows one individual to prepare a beacon in Otherspace and will correlate with known coordinates. This makes finding places to and from Real Space much easier.
- Shields Done, Prepare to Jump: Shield Generators must be down in order for the OtherSlip to engage into Otherspace.
- OtherSlip Cooldown: One cannot simply abuse the Otherslip into slipping in and out of reality in dogfight engagements. It takes several minutes before it can even be used again, failure to do so may result in starship crumbling apart or massive power failures.
A unique request from Final Dawn prompted a mass production, simple hyperdrive add-on device known as OtherSlip to be created. It took variations of other known hyperdrive malfunctions at the time along with new and improved navigational data to create unique circumstances and ways to enter Otherspace. While this is the mass-produced one that can be made available to the public, it is more or less simply the bare bones version and could be possible updated to do more than usual.
