Given the First Order is greatly interested in recovering old artifacts connected to the First Galactic Empire and its leading figures, I thought it would be good to go after this particular treasure - nothing less than Darth Sidious' personal weapon!
"Being a patron of the arts, Darth Sidious designed his original weapon with a high level of craftsmanship, clearly influenced by the Sith Lord's love of antiquity. The body of the lightsaber was fashioned from nigh-indestructible phrik alloy while the flat emitter was composed of aurodium. The whole of the weapon possessed a refined and elegant electrum finish. The weapon utilized a synth-crystal as the focusing crystal."
Our jorney will take us behind the enemy lines, to Dagobah, where a rival Sith lord hid the relic to mock Darth Sidious' greatness. Not only the weapon collects dust on a GA controlled planet; rumours say it is surrounded by vengeful spirits in a place tainted with the dark side and anyone brave enough to travel Dagobah in search for it succumbs to madness. Perhaps it is deadly to Jedi and greedy thieves - but we are neither! As Palpatine's grandsons, we must reclaim what is rightfully ours!
Unlike with the holocron of Darth Zash, I won't be a total scumlord this time - one of YOU will claim the lightsaber of Darth Sidious and wield it in the upcoming battles!
Who is interested? You can bring NPC troops as well if you'd like (or if you don't trust your resident Sith lord), though this won't be a thread with opposition like the Ren expedition to Lothal. Purely story-driven, with you, writers, free to develop your character while surviving on a hostile world where the Force is particularly strong and you never know what kind of beasts watch you in the wilds...
