Operations: Manufacturing of mining/gas harvesting and processing equipment as well as select mine operations.
Rationale: Domino started the privately owned company as a Phenex industries subsidiary after Danger requested she supply MTF with fuel production equipment in order to streamline operations and prevent them from interfering with Phenex's primary operations.
Description: A once small company, ORR was sponsored by Phenex (its parent corporation) and Arceneau Trade Company. ORR housed Phenex Industries manufacture of resource production material as well as providing over sight and administration to the few mines the company runs. This limited scope of operations allowed for few required locations and low overhead costs as nearly all their production is on an at-need basis to fill existing contracts. Currently Outer Rim Resources is contracted to supply ATC and MTF with the necessary equipment and facilities to mine and process Tibanna and other precious materials as well as provide replacement parts on Sleheyron. Domino also took this opportunity to fold a recently created private phrik mine into the company to help ease the flow of material to and from the site.
Outer Rim Resources had been considered a subsidiary despite being privately owned by Domino as it worked under the Phenex banner and was closely tied to it financially, paying rent for equipment and taking direction from them when required. However Domino broke the company off from Phenex when she sold the parent company and now runs it independently as a supplier of raw materials and supplies throughout the Outer Rim. On leaving the rights to manufacture the Isumaru ships and Trist stations were also transferred to ORR.
Since then, the company has slowly expanded its operations despite several partnerships with Rimward organizations not lasting long. The company adapted, investing, selling, and supporting governments and alliances where possible, but never investing too heavily, always expecting a collapse. This slowed growth, but prevented overextension and ensured that ORR would suffer little financially when a partner withdrew. Domino's withdrawal from the Galaxy was the most telling blow to the company, loosing its guiding mind and creator, but she planned far ahead, leaving behind plans and orders so that the people that had grown dependent on ORR for employment, logistics, and other services weren't left bereft. She was succeeded by a clear line of succession in Alex Stern, and prepared groundwork for future developments.

Primarily a security and policing force, Orr Sec officers are equipped with repurposed SDF Armor, Wildcat blaster pistols and stun batons. During an emergency or when patrolling more sensitive areas, Viper particle rifles may be issued to counter threats. The underslung launcher using stun, glop, and fragmentation grenades. For extra protections in dangerous locations, officers are equipped with energy shields and may carry a riot shield during times of unrest.
