Waiting in the sky
It’d been a while since the fall of the Fel Empire, but following his friend Davin to the Fringe Federation seemed to be the smart move. He was hopeful for everything that would happen here. There were the remains of another Imperial style government and that was something that reverberated with the former Imperial Cadet. Right now, he was looking to get some practice behind some of the Fringe vessels, especially their TIE variants. The Exalt seemed to be a good place to start.
It was, after all, the successor to what his father had flown during his tours in a now defunct Imperial branch. And they were kept aboard the Dawn Treader. Logging into the flight sim, and hoping that the general call for trials of anyone looking to fly in a new unit he was getting together worked out well, he took the fighter through some maneuvers around a star destroyer. Right, bogeys should be generating shortly.
And hopefully some live pilots. That would do the trick. Seeing the red show up in his radar, though, he kicked the throttle of his starfighter and warmed up the blasters. Time to take some drones down. A grin crept across his face as he was so ready for this. How long had he just been doing nothing with the crew of the Treader? Too long, the journey and decision to come to this destination wasn’t always fully his. He had the ship, and the Elders aboard to worry over. Plus those that left the Fel with him.
