Over powered apprentice looking for Master

Asher was a warrior for the Fringe, during which he learned basic Shatterpoint. During his days as a Dark Jedi Padawan he learned to conjure Lightning. Lol all the gained stuff is rp'ed out, just lost since the purge.

Edit:
Also does that mean youd be willing to teach him?

Lol. I'm sure everyone is just busy. Head on over to the Jedi Temple Forum and sign up for a Master in the Pinned thread. Just leave your application there and someone will PM you eventually.

Hope to see you having fun around the Faction soon Asher! :D

"Shatterpoints were a complex Force phenomenon, perceivable only by an unknown innate talent or immense focus and concentration on the part of the Force-user."
There were 9 known practitioners of this technique in former canon history the first of which was Darth Traya who Died 3951 BBY. The Last recorded was Cade Skywalker who was born approximately 116 ABY. I had Shatterpoint as one of the skills on this character for a long time and decided to remove it not only for the above mentioned information but because of the tendency for it to be used inappropriately, even by myself, and cause more trouble than it is worth.

However, I mean none of this as criticism on either your character or your use of any technique that you have trained or will train. ALL of that said I would gladly train you as soon as I get a free space in my schedule. I have a few very promising Padawans and I am sure one will be a knight very soon. If you don't mind either slow posting or waiting, then I'll train [member="Asher"] with out question.

You shouldn't set out to make a powerful character. You should set out to make a character powerful. My advice?

Ditch the character, start from scratch. Fresh slate.

I wouldn't even go that far. Just redesign the character. Keep the same stats and whatnot, but start him over as a low- level force user with little to no power. It leaves more room to train in the future.
A bar that has a crappy reputation, can re-do everything. It can get new staff, a new menu, but that stigma of the old brand will still be there. It's better to start from scratch, a fresh start...

That's absurd and incredibly disrespectful.

Why on earth would you think telling someone to drop a characters development is at all the correct thing to do? This gentleman very politely asked for training, albeit he used some unnecessary descriptors as what I perceive to be humor.

There's absolutely no reason for him to "start over" and just retcon everything he's already done. If nothing else he's simply a well-versed apprentice at the least and a Jedi waiting to polished for knighting at best. If he's gained power through rp experience then it would be paramount to see his power put to good, here amongst the Jedi, and solidify his lightsider alignment.

Step up and be responsible faction members. Everyone's story counts for something.

It was a suggestion, yeesh

[member="Lorelei Darke"] While you do make a valid point, and I wholeheartedly agree with you, [member="Tracyn Ordo"] wasn't trying to instigate, neither was he telling Asher to do anything he didn't want to. It was a suggestion, an opinion. Everybody has a right to one.

Honestly a fresh start is your best bet anyway. Over powered doesn't really sit well with any character

I think he gave it 48 hours and left to seek greener pastures elsewhere. Lol. But Asher, and all Apprentices like him, are very welcome to sign-up for a Master in the Jedi Temple Forum and await a PM.

Thanks to all the writers who participated here and wanted to make Asher's experience in the Faction a great one. :D

Rl issues have been keeping me away, and making posting almost unappealing. However that said I am still looking. And Asher was one of my first apprentices I made, I rped with him a bit (not a whole lot) but enough to be approximately 200 posts (most ic) before the purge and its corresponding post count cleanse.

As said, he never had a master and thus he kinda became my more offense based character. At first he was...kark cant remember the species, the ones that have no skin are just a mass of nerves etc) but that wasnt good so I shifted to the Polydroxol as a test and approved of it way more.
