Rationale: Leos Palle is a political mastermind with a very persuasive tongue. As a Sith, he has joined in with a group that operates under a system of basic feudalism. The more property and holdings you have, the more power you have. Additionally, it becomes necessary to keep your political enemies on their toes and second guessing what they may be up against if they choose to challenge you for property and power. In order to facilitate his ability to amass wealth, and curry favor with outside forces that may be useful to him, he has crafted the elaborate setup of a public corporation to craft goods available for purchase to anyone and everyone, which can also skew the public perception of his persona into good favor for him. With his death, the company passed to his son, Sobaan, who did not want the company associated with his father's name.

Description: Ignus Industries exists as a public company specializing in weapons, armor and small vessels. By public, it means that it is open to purchases from any and all parties, regardless of alignment or political nature. It is an equal opportunity company which makes no effort to endorse anyone or any action, merely providing goods. These goods are openly purchasable through the holonet or in person at one of the two, current locations.

Managed by a team of specialists from throughout the galaxy, brought together by Leos Palle himself, the company initially began as an armor making entity, for practical purposes of accruing the necessary capital for expansion. The initial location of headquarters and manufacture was decided upon Telos because of its rich history of being business friendly. The move proved a good one, and capital accruances soon allowed expansion into arms and small space-faring vessel manufacture.

A new shipyard will be operational above the planet Surron, allowing the company to produce larger starships, as requested by their clientele. Future expansion plans call for the expansion into custom terrestrial facility design.

With the death of Leos Palle, majority shares in the company were transferred to Sobaan Palle, his son. Not wanting the corporation to be associated with the horrible deeds of his father, he ordered the name to be changed to Overlock Industries, OI for short, and ordered that they discontinue production of current ships designated for Sith usage only. It is a new era for the company, one of true neutrality, that is brewing.

Update: Sobaan Palle has sold enough shares to Eshan Industrial Corporation to make them the majority owner of the company, making Overlock Industries a subsidiary of Eshan Industrial Corporation.
