Description: The single-run of the Ovmar-class was done following the successful bid of High Lord Jared Ovmar. Desiring only a single station for personal retreat, the Ovmar-class was designed around this core desire. To begin with, the station is designed to be largely automated, with only a single organic being in command while legions of droid workers see to the tedious nature of maintenance. All of the station's guns are automated, controlled by Cestus J2 droid brains.
The station does feature a large number of retractable antenna, each housing sensitive sensor arrays to detect the burst of radiation signifying the arrival of a ship from hyperspace. A single CGT in the heart of the station ensures no cloaked ship attempts to fly in under the radar. Four dozen tractor-pressor beams tend to the work of loading or repelling ships from the station's hangers, which normally stay open when the station is not moving.
At the personal request of Jared, the station was outfitted with a hyperdrive and sublight engines to allow the station the means of relocating once discovered. This did preclude putting in more hanger space or guns, as the energy must be diverted to the hyperdrive and engines, but the results were to Lord Ovmar's wishes.
