APPEARANCE:
Oz a rather tall and lanky Ubese male, thanks both to feats in cybernetic engineering and personal lifestyle. When not in service he wears a mix of casual and practical clothing and is almost always armed in someway. When on duty he wears typical scout trooper armor with some minor customization. Around his torso and arms is heavy scaring from internalized cybernetic augmentations to his strength and stamina.
BIOGRAPHY:
Oz Verde grew up knowing he and his people were the best. The pinnacle of what they galaxy had to offer in just about every single way. However, Oz was never truly satisficed with that knowledge. After all Ubese weren't particularly powerful in the galaxy. Growing up he felt a pull, and need to show and prove not only to himself but everyone that he and his people were the best.
Oz grew up on the world of Ubertica Where he learned an important lesson. That survival of the fittest really was in effect at all times. He learned this after killing a strong predator. As a child he was always scared of large rodent species. Fearing their brutality and strength, that is until he killed one with his families rifle. His father and mother tried to spin his personal philosophy in a different direction. Surely they were the best, but they should use that to help others lesser than him. Which he believes even to this day. But for those unable to understand that universal truth he would need to prove it to them.
As a young adult he grew up to be a fighter and a bit of a bully. Mainly making a living as a big game hunter, the bigger the better. Starting in Ubese space, where he hunted, killed and butchered just about kind of living thing there that was vicious. Developing more of a "True Ubese" mind set, being brutal in his views towards others, even though he would technically never be considered a "True Ubese" by his own kind.. When he needed to prove himself to other species he would brag about his feats with exaggerated swagger, or challenge them personally typically in fights. Where he would win many and loose others, always coming up with a unfair and unfounded claim as to why he lost.
He continued this quest of big game hunting and fighting across the galaxy in his personal crusade to prove to others he was the best. Through bounties and blood. That is until he angered the wrong person and ended up in prison. Sith Imperial prison none the less. There he was a trouble maker and seemed to never be able to leave since he kept adding on days and months to his sentence in Orinackra.
After it was "Liberated" by the New Imperial Order he was offered and alternate fate. Join the NIO as a conscript and receive a shorter sentence. In the imperial army, not even the stormtrooper corps, he'd managed to prove himself as a rather valuable individual and team member for each officer he served under. However, this time in service lit a flame in him. A desire to see the order provided by the NIO through to other systems in the galaxy. He felt rather at home in this new empire.
From this he furthered a new career in the NIO and officially joined the Stormtrooper corps as a Scout Trooper. There he could utilize his abilities as a ranger to good use for a cause he found just. Not to mention he felt like he could prove not only what he was capable of in the NIO but also prove what the New Empire was all about. Not to mention it wasn't the Galactic Republic, those responsible for the tarnishing of the Ubese home world with their Jedi.
