Pack Runners

Elara was now having fun, she had been on Ossus within the jedi ranks, he mission to infiltrate and bring potentials of worth never lost while she walked as a Shivistian among the nerfs. Her master would be pleased with what she had done, slowly learning how best to tear apart those who defy them. She wanted to make sure all here who didn't bow to her masters will bows to the dark lord otherwise they would suffer the fate of all who rebelled against the natural order.

Then she saw something, a bright glow and shimmer while moving forward through the crowd. She had spent the time meeting as many as she could and spent even longer making sure the familiar on her shoulder perched and ready was doing as needed. Slowly Elara walked up and starred a little at the white being who did radiate and reminded her look wise of her mother almost. Though that couldn't be possible as she spoke. "Hello I am Elara."

Balaya perked her head up when she heard the words, Elara had met another and her apprentice was cunning she wans't going to just speak to everyone without purpose. The sith master rose up and started going to work on the metal as she set forth to forge another ring, another contract with the dark lord to plant the seeds needed that could be collected down the road on their quest to bring the dark lords vision of order to the galaxy. "And so it begins."

Ilanthria walked gracefully through the marketplace, her 7'2" body and glowing skin making her stand out incredibly. Many people stared at her, seeing different interpretaions of beauty. Diathims had that effect on people. As she walked, a small girl came to her and introduced herself. Ilanthria looked down at the child and smiled warmly. "Hello, Elara. I am Ilanthria." Her voice was as calm and soothing as her aura.

Elara continued to look at the woman, she was a padawan here in the order she was one of the few she didn't know the name of until now as she spoke. "Ilanthria, I know this isn't the best way to go about it but the masters are busy. My master sent me here to train and wait for her to return to take me back to the frontline and fight, I need to get down to the catacombs and need help." The bird on her shoulder squawked for her benefit as she stood there more and brought out an older map. The jedi temple had been built by Daella and she had built the tunnels, built it connected to the older ruins. "Can you help me please."

Balaya continued to watch this using her familiars eyes while she stayed working on the metal. Focused and pure was all it needed as it absorbed her blood and she could feel the blood trail to find it. One ring for these padawans and she could start them down the proper path of the dark lords vision through order and strength. They would have to work hard to detect her ensnarement spell but by that time it would most likely be to late. She just needed Elara to succeed and get them to wear the rings while she pushed her power into the familiar and continued to project for her apprentice and purest aura within the lightside.

Ilanthria looked down at the old maps, studying them for a moment. "I see. What are you looking for, exactly? The catacombs are winding and seemingly unending. We will need to pinpoint what you wish to find." She said softly. It was curious that such a young padawan would need to gain access to the Catacombs. But everyone has some reason or other for doing so. And the girl felt pure, and appeared to be perfectly genuine. So Ilanthria decided to help.

Elara gave a nod of her head. "I am not certain, master Walsh visited the catacombs briefly and Master Daella spent a great deal of time down there. Both turned to the darkside soon after, if there is a danger we need to make sure we stop it and protect the others. The masters are busy with all that is happening. It is up to us." Elara stood a little taller... still smaller then her but a little taller. "We need to reform the padawan pack and take the fight to protect our home here on Ossus if we don't the sith could well what if they showed up and were under our very feet waiting for the moment to rise up and take the academy."

Balaya chuckled at that hearing her, more truths... better more using everythign she had observed and learned in the sith. Lies were fine but they were harder to conceal from jedi, the truth could confuse them and right now Elara told it from a different perspective of course but she told it all the same as Balaya held up a bronze ring and started engraving upon it the symbol of the jedi order. She would need to get a blackblade to take this down into the catacombs using the tunnels they knew about and had mapped under Kain when he controlled the planet. It would be faster with the new maps then the old ones and she was glad she had downloaded the archives.

Ilanthria listened to the girl's words, nodding her head. She spoke of a grim truth. The Sith were always finding new ways to infiltrate the Jedi and trying to overtake them. They had lost good friends to whatever evils loomed in the catacombs. If no one else could stop them, then the padawans should take it upon themselves to do so. "You are correct. If no one else can cease the evil below our very feet, then it is up to us. I will come with you, Elara."

Balay listened to her apprentice she hadn't had to prompt her or anything, the girl was a natural at it. Inspiring even when she used every bit of truth in her words to give the sith master a chuckle as she finished the ring and holding the warm bronze in her hand as it gleamed. The insignia of the jedi used to identify it as a symbol of the order something they had for padawans and knights to show them to people. A uniformity as it were and Balaya placed it into the hands of one of the scouts. "Take it to the planet, hide it in the catacombs where they are going and do not be seen, this must be natural." The man gave a nod of his head as he ran off to the stealth ship to go down to the plant.

Elara looked at Ilanthria and nodded her head. A small fist pump in the air to show excitement while she looked to the other padawan and her bird went to her shoulder. "Alright we shall go, the entrance to the catacombs should be around the courtyard." She was moving towards it and spoke running a hand along her head for a moment. "So how long have you been with the jedi Ilanthria?" An easy question, with a good answer that would tell her what she needed to know and pass the time. They needed to buy it as they went down and took plenty. Let the scouts get the ensnarement talisman there to find and use. She found the entry and started prying at the grate.

Ilanthria bent down over the grate and began to assist Elara, using the force to gently tug at the edges of the grate. "I have been with the Jedi Order for more than fifty years. I focused mainly on learning the history and teachings of the Jedi, and then the Force itself. That may be why I am still a padawan," She said with a small smile.

Elara lifted as the grate came up and she moved it to the side. Looking at the tall woman who had been a jedi padawan longer then she had been alive, even longer then her master was awe inspiring and only pushed Elara further. She would be a great one to have back home, to have helping them, helping her with her growth. Her knowledge and strength as the little girl started walking down held a smile to that. "Well that is good, if you weren't we couldn't be the padawan pack. We wouldn't have nearly as much fun in this and facing the dangers." Her smile remained turning to look into the shadows while still heading down and the familiar squawked on her shoulder.

Balaya let her focus drift to the scout and through the eyes of the familiar, Elara was doing good at least for now and with this padawan's age she could prove a valuable resource. She would have known a great deal about the temples, about the inner workings possibly. Not that it would matter in the end but anything could become valuable in the right hands and a padawan like her could become a powerful allie using her knowledge to befriend and slowly corrupt her friends if it came to it. "Good, the talisman is on its way down. Just take your time." Balaya continued to watch while she moved to a seat to meditate and focus on them.

Ilanthria walked beside Elara quietly as they began their journey into the depths of the Catacombs. Her glowing body acted as their only source of light, so she held the map and walked a little in front of the girl. The passages seemed endless. There were no straight corridors of any kind. It was like a gigantic maze of tunnels and caverns.

Elara heard her master and ave a nod of her head to that, she had to buy time in their searching for the scout to get down. To get in and hide it, or maybe he would do what she had seen and pretend to be one of the padawans who had turned. Either way would work for their purpose, either way would make for a worthwhile situation as she continued deeper down into the tunnels. The moisture making the walls slick and gleam with the light from her blade and the glow of Ilanthria, Elara was patient and focused, she was calm and ready but most of all she was just what she needed to be. Pure and lightsided to protect her 'friend'

Balaya looked at the blackblade scout who had made it to the planet, the tunnels and lower areas were different then where she had sent Elara with Corvus they were more confined and full of rooms houses old supplies. Slowly she rose from her area and watched with the familiar the Diathiam, her species were rarely seen off Iego but much like the ancient Darth Shara this was an oddity. One she wanted to focus on and nurture, her energy flared while she pushed the familiar to squawk and hop up towards her to perch on her shoulder while its small talons sought to pierce her skin and taint the smallest cells. Giving her the small trace of the darkside like a cancer that would slowly possibly grow if no one ever noticed it.

Ilanthria saw the bird as it jumped and squawked on Elara's shoulder. It appeared to be looking at the Diathim. She gently reached down her hand and stroked the creature's head. "Your friend is very lovely. What do you call her?" She asked.

"Her name is angel." Elara looked back only a bit and could feel her masters magic flickering through the bond she was making with the familiar. The beast was working sith magics, casting a spell quietly while Elara slowed down a little and looked at the glowing woman. "So what about you? You have been a jedi all these years, haven't you earned and learned enough to be a master within the order?" She wanted to get to understand the mind set of the woman while she sensed her masters magic slowly seeping into that skin, she wanted her masters goal of spreading the darkside into one such as this angel. Give this pure being the pure vision and clarity of the Dark Lord and the first step was understanding why she was still a padawan. Not that the padawan pack wasn't a great thing to have.

"As I said before, I have mainly focused my efforts on learning all that I can of Jedi history and the history of the Force. There is only so much to be learned there, however. Because I have been so absorbed in my studies I have neglected actual training. Now that my studies have reached a stopping point, I can begin growing stronger in actual skill." Ilanthria replied.

"Yes but I know jedi who got through with their knowledge more then their skill, there have been plenty of them and if the jedi can produce a sixteen year old master who became supreme chancellor of the Republic and have it not be a joke surely your skill was just overlooked." Elara kept walking but she prodded, pushing at this one, her masters influence and familiar there to give her strength while she spoke. "You could and should be stronger, you have been at this longer you know the jedi's history and knowledge better then others yet they overlook you. They ignore you, my master chose me because I showed promise, chose me and taught me because she didn't want me to be left behind."

Balaya continued to watch and was twisting a spell, more so to whisper to Ilanthria she wanted the jedi to want, wanted her to desire more skill that she could find not here. You have been overlooked because they do not trust you, they want warriors who will march not ones who read, they do not want jedi who think beyond fighting. You know it is the truth, you feel it in your bones same as you feel this voice. I am your friend, your inner voice offering the resolve to do what is for the greater good of the galaxy. Don't you want to serve the will of the force, the will of your masters? Don't you think it is time to cast aside your shackles?

Ilanthria looked down at Elara. "My training has only just begun because I have been busy until this point. Now that I am finally ready to begin, there are many troubles arising in the Galaxy that many masters must attend to. I understand that there are priorities that must come before my training, and I accept that I must wait. Patience is a virtue that we all must learn and practice, Elara. If one were to rush into everything, they would become reckless and ignorant. They would make poor decisions that would eventually lead to their demise, merely because they did not take the time to think and reflect upon their actions. It is a Jedi teaching that is frequently forgotten by even Masters at times. We must remember that without patience, there is only chaos."

Elara looked at the woman and her eyes gleamed in the pink and ciolet light of her sabers. More mischievious while she smiled nodding her head and screaming inside she was going to enjoy this. Heading deeper she found the first part, a storage room with crates from when they were rebuilding and she looked around. Going deeper down into the bowels as the sound of footfalls came. They had traveled away from the temple and down itno the lower levels that connected to the old ruins they had destroyed, to the fortress Junra had created to overlook the academy and temple. Elara paused for a moment and spoke. "Do you hear that."

Ilanthria listened carefully, reaching out with the Force to see what it could be. For some reason, she couldn't focus very well on it. "Yes. But i cannot identify it. Strange..."

Elara nodded her head and kept moving, she could hear the sounds and was following it deeper and deeper until she was in one fo the lower rooms. Junra's room from the looks of it. The plain bed and only display an image of her and Diana, strange but it had to be hers. Diana was on Cato Neimodia . She looked around and spoke while searching the drawers, there were signs of someone down here as the one opened and the light from the saber shined off the rings that were in the drawer. Other things a journal, a saber repair kit and datapad detailing them for the padawan pack that was running on Ossus and Coruscant. "Ilanthria look, they had rings for us well the old pack."

Ilanthria bent down and picked up one of the rings, examining it. "Interesting. I did not know that such rings existed. They are quite remarkable." Something about the ring felt slightly out of place.
