Padawan Meets Master

[member="Daichi"]

The day had been cloudy all day on tatooine. There wasn't anything bad about that, just meant more training. Alask wore a battle robe to use as an everyday robe and especially for training and real battles. He traveled far into the desert where it was just a wasteland. He mainly went there to train since Krayt dragons were populated there. As he jumped off of the speeder he "borrowed" he saw a beast.

Alask made some noise to grab its attention. Once he came running over, he sat down and faced the opposite direction. Heclosed his eyes to trust in the force. His goal was to use his force powers to know the dragon's moves. The dragon came closer and closer. When it was close enough for Alask, he quickly formed debris from cracked stones and sent it flying behind him blasting the dragon back. He ddidn't mean to kill it but it did die somehow.

Daichi had, and I mean had, been studying the Krayt Dragons. They were powerful beasts, one that not even he could kill on his lonesome. Well, not without effort on his part. In a past life it took himself and two others combined skills to bring it down, and that was three Knights. Needless to say, the man was speechless when after a small yell, he saw one of the particular beasts he was studying fall dead.

The Sithspawn stood up, letting his now deep red hair flow behind him. Deep green eyes peered about as he searched for.. Who ever could of done this. And the search didn't take long. [member="Alask Diruno"] had a signature, though faint, but it was enough for the man to find the boy. Well, perhaps boy was a wrong term. He wouldn't raise his voice, rather he'd step over the now corpse of a dragon, walking right to Alask without a sense of urgency. However, the man could very well see, hear, sense, and probably even smell Daichi. Which smelled oddly like blueberries.

Killing the dragon wasn't a goal or the goal. Simply, just to enhance his sense force skills. When he was about to cut open the dragon for its pearls since it died, something suddenly stepped over it. Alask jumped back as he stood defensively. But nothing scary popped up. Only a man with a really strong force connection or at least that's what he suspected. "Hi." he said calmly grabbing his saber.

He kept still a moment, standing there atop the dragon. The mans eyes never once blinked, rather kept fixated on the mans figure. His action, posture. All of it interested Daichi. On purpose or not [member="Alask Diruno"] had done something very, very interesting to the red haired fiend. Finally, after moments of quiet after Alask had spoken, he would crouch down to pat the side of the felled beast.

"Do you have a name?"

His voice was crisp and clean, but not entirely male. It would be confusing to determine his gender from his voice alone, but thankfully his form was clearly male. He reached behind himself to pull out what could only be a deathstick. After a quick snap of his fingers, he would be crouched atop the hunted with a ciggerette of sorts inbetween his lips, watching Diruno intently as ever.

[member="Daichi"]

A name? Probably was best he didn't lie to this man. Alask seen him somewhere, in the grey order for sure but maybe somewhere else? "Alask." he said analyzing the man. His voice was different from what he was used to. Guess this galaxy is far and wide, he thought. He never clipped his saber to his belt, that would show "security".

"Alask.. Good name. Strong sounding." The man would leap down in front of [member="Alask Diruno"] , looking him over for a moment or two. His pale green eyes would scan his form before a hand raised. He'd call up on the force, pulling on something unseen. "Do you know what this is per chance? How strong and powerful of a creature it is? It is very, very rare for someone of your skill to be able to harm one, let alone kill it." With a flick of a wrist, the dragon's pearl tore through the beast, landing in the masters hand. "What do you know of the Force?"

[member="Daichi"]

Keeping his look blank, he stood there. "Killing it wasn't the goal but I suppose I did kill it. These dragons used to be more powerful than me, however, that has changed." Alask paused seeing the man taking the pearl. "The force is... something we all use for wants and needs. There's nothing special about it. You get put in this world for what? To be forced to choose a side? I'd rather face the whole jedi or sith army before choosing." he said keeping his eyes on the pearl. He knew more was in the dragon but only one was unique. The man had picked it somehow.

The man would slowly fade from view, shrinking down in size. Suddenly, a female would be standing there! The male/female voice would now be clearly female, showing that if anything, the Sithspawn was changing her form. Now blue eyes would stare directly at his form, a frown large on her lips. "Then you'd like to die. Choosing death over having to choose an order is thickheaded and brash. While neither exactly give you freedom, death is it."

She tosses to [member="Alask Diruno"] the purple colored crystal. Very rare indeed it seemed. "But this isn't like the days of old. There are new places to join. New orders. The Templars, though I'm not sure what they're called now, the Phoenix, even the Grey. Choices are endless, but only the Grey has free choice on what you do, and how long you stay." She tapped her chin for a moment or two, thinking. After a second, she'd walk right up to him, tilting her head. "Now answer my question. What do you know of the Force? Skill wise, not Sith and Jedi stuff."

At this moment, confusion was high. Alask never understood sorcery, witchery or whatever people did these days but he knew that it probably wasn't his business.
[member="Daichi"]

"Choosing a side means you already are dead. A slave. I know I'm not the most knowledgeable person but I do know this, each decision you make only leads to a bigger one. That's why I never choose sides. I'll let a sith kill a jedi if the sith leaves me be." he said catching the pearl but soon setting it down by the speeder.

"How long will these orders last? That's the question I want answered." he paused seeing him/her coming closer. "Woah! No offense but are you a man or a woman? I'm kinda confused." He backed up a little before she/he asked him the same question. "Well.. the only reason I killed that dragon is probably because of my sense force abilities. Force sense and precognition. I was born with the power to harness force energy and some other energy types, its known as tutaminis I suppose. And I know a few others but you probably want to know about my saber techniques too. I use vaapad mainly. Is that all you need to know?"

She blinked slowly for a moment, inhaled, and..

"Staying out of a fight is a good thing. Let others pick their religious wars. Theses orders have been lasting years, for the Templars, if you don't count the name change. Grey have been around a while, and I doubt they'll go away. Not sure on the last one. I am neither male or female. I pick what I feel like being at any random moment. Compliments of Sithspawn. As for your abilities, they interest me enough to wish to see you grow. As in stronger. For sabers, however, I don't actually care. Part of a glitch really, but I can't do anything with forms. Can't even use a saber. It's like an invisible barrier getting in the way of any action of mine with one. Weird, yes."

.. exhaled. Daichi nodded once to [member="Alask Diruno"] before turning on a heel, walking off rather suddenly. "If you wish to learn, the Grey always have a welcome spot for you. Or anyone, for that matter. Think of it like an open invitation and bring who ever you like. Of curse, come as a threat and we will defend ourselves, but we tend to have few, if not any enemies these days." And with that she went back over the dragon, and out of site. She was still close, seeming to walk to her own ship at this point. But she wasn't going to fast, seeming to be waiting for a response.

[member="Daichi"]

Understanding everything she said, he walked slowly forward. "You know... I need a teacher or a master. Whatever is preferred. You have interest in my abilities, I have interest in your teachings." he said as he stopped and stood there.

She stopped for a moment, her eyes lingering on the ground. She was quiet, as if her mind was racing with thoughts for a couple of seconds. Then, her blue eyes would snap back to [member="Alask Diruno"] , looking him over. Her eyes lingered for a moment before she turned on a heel, marching back to where her ship would lay resting.

"I don't just teach anyone who asks for it anymore. You're thing with the dragon interested me enough to talk to you, but if you want to learn more you're going to have to get to the grey. Don't worry, they'll let you in." With those parting words she would set off in a burst of motion, the force feeding around her form. She would be gone in an instant, already to her ship.

Which she didn't have one. There was another pause for the master as she very slowly remembered all of her ships at one point belonged to other factions. Factions that wouldn't let her keep her gifts. With a sigh she'd be walking back to the nearest spaceport, hands behind her head as she looked at the ground. She really needed to get her own ship.

[member="Daichi"]

What did she mean by he had to get to the grey. He had joined the faction not too long ago but she should've seen him at least once. If not seen, heard of. "But I am of the grey." he mumbled before hopping on the speeder and putting the pearl in his pocket. Alask was hoping to seek the meaning of her words but he thought he had enough stuff to deal with for one day.
