Padawan turned sith

I want to make a padawan who eventually turns sith but i dont know what faction to say hes in and im confused about the rank thing as well as having to tell a story about a planet in public something can someone please explain cause im really confused

Alright so, if you're looking to start your character off in a Jedi faction, the two big ones are the New Jedi Order, which is part of the Galactic Alliance, and the Silver Jedi Order. I recommend checking out their faction Discords and asking around for more info about each one.

A smaller, Imperial-loyalist group with strong Sith roots exists as well, and that's the Order of The Lion, loyal to The Elysium Empire

You could start out Jensaarai (Part of The Rimward Trade League) based on Susevfi. Veino Garn is Saarai-kar. Jensaarai are good but based on Sith teachings and would be a decent hook for going dark.
