As a kid, Jax never put much stock into mediation. Though NJO encouraged younglings to meditate at least 7 times a day. Jax would "mediate" by sleeping or playing pranks on his fellow younglings. It earned him a reprimand by his Masters and one time, Jax spent a week cleaning up the Droids, yet as Jax's connection to the Force grew, he realized the importance of meditation. To calm your mind, to release yourself to the Force was difficult to do without meditation. The Jedi Master took in the gentle crash of the waterfalls inside the room of thousand fountains. It was the place where he met his wife: Jairdain Jairdain where she went out for a swim.

One thing Jax heard about the Room of Thousand Fountains was that it was a place where Jedi would find answers to problems or even meet their destinies here. He can already sense the many events that transpired in this place, Jax could feel the past presence of two boys dueling the clash of Lightsabers were heard. He could feel the desperation, the anger, between the kids including a death. Jax took a deep breath continuing to observe the place, what other events would transpire today?

He did it -- that old, nerf herding, self absorbed, controlling... distant, part-time excuse of a Father actually did it. Arhiia had received a summons; she had been chosen to meet with a Master for a Padawnship. Now... to clarify a few key points... most Padawans -- well, lets just say, normal Padawans would be jumping up and down right now, fist pumping the air in celebration that they were soon to have a Master. Arhia, was... not, your typical Padawan Learner.

The sound of her footsteps leading down the halls, headed towards the Room of a Thousand Fountains caused her to feel more alone... than usual. This wasn't the march of enthusiasm... this was a death march in her eyes... however -- she knew what her personal friend and mentor, Kel Se'Taav Kel Se'Taav would say to her in a time like this -- to embrace the unknown and go headfirst into it with an open mind, and that's what she was doing -- well, going through the motions was what she was doing at this point. The days of sneaking away -- all day into the Archives were over. She would be participating in actual missions if she was chosen, doing regular combat training, and spending days, weeks if not months away at a time with her Master. Now -- up until this point, pretty negative energy going on... but, inside -- there was a small ember, a small flame that always smoldered and burned -- something that yearned for more, longed for purpose -- something, that hadn't had the right fan on it yet... and it was a wildfire ready to be set ablaze. Arhiia had the makings to be a good, a great Jedi and her Father Iston knew this -- she just had to trust, believe and be brave... and for feth's sake, just do it.

Coming into the room, Arhiia's vibrant blue eyes took in the beauty that was this room. Smiling, she did internally note that if a Master chose to meet here for there first meeting -- it was definitely a good spot in her opinion, for no room held the beauty that this one in particular did. Scanning the room, but being sure to be as quiet as possible in the event multiple others were here meditating or seeking -- Arhiia scanned the room, only to look at one Master in particular. He seemed lost in thought, and to Arhiia he since he was alone, she hoped this was the Jedi Master she was sent to meet with. Walking over, and coming up towards his side so that she would be seen before she was heard. The young woman was no child, but rather a teen in her prime. Her dirty blonde hair was pulled in a neat braid, her eyes, the most vibrant of all her features were calculative, thoughtful but also lonely looking. Her frame and build was small, by no means impressive -- but her clothing was modest and practical, not just for around the Order, but even if need be for combat. Speaking up as she came into a graceful bow, her soft soprano voice broke the silence of the room, just over the roar of the fountains and waterfalls. "Excuse me Master, my apologies for interrupting your train of thought -- my name is Padawan Arhiia Voronwe, I am in search for a Master Jax Thio -- I was sent a summons and need to find him -- would you be able to help point me in the right direction?"

"Master Thio?" Jax placed his hands on hips when a young woman with blonde hair that draped over her shoulders approached him. She stared at him with a curious glance probably wondering why a Master was busy aimlessly wandering around the mediation chamber. Jax had to admit he did feel a little embarrassed being caught sensing Force echoes but then again the Force does compel people to do things beyond the social norm.

"That's a name I haven't heard in a long time," Jax said resisting the urge to curl his lips into a smirk. "I know of him, what do you want?"

Might as well be playful and at the same time probe the woman. The Force was strong within her and Jax was curious about her.

Arhiia stared blankly at the Master in front of her -- her calm demeanor clearly masking the annoyance that was now creeping up her neck. If it was a name he's known, and 'knew of him', the Master she was looking for must be an older gentleman -- yet what was most frustrating was why this man wouldn't give her a straight answer -- these Masters were all alike, they spoke in riddles and liked to play games; her mind letting out an internal scoff. Slowly letting a soft exhale escape her lips, Arhiia allowed her well formed and thought out sentence roll off her lips, her voice still soft and calm as trying not to come off as disrespectful. "I was sent here by the council for a prospective Padawanship meeting -- but forgive me for being blunt and straight to the point Master...er -- I don't believe you introduced yourself, but... I would really like to find him before I'm made late. Unlike my prospective peers I do not enjoy looking uncaring." She was a young lady, and no child by any means... but she was cold, stiff and rigid -- almost as if something stifled her own emotions, beat them down and shut them off. Her serious blue eyes pierced and never broke contact with his, but even beneath her cold, monotone exterior was a sadness that lingered in her eyes... something far beyond her years of living. "Master -- if you could -- which way is Master Thio?"
