Lord of Girth
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Snakes and other venomous creatures have been hunted down for centuries to control their population, and to not harm others. However, it is for the minds of war, and battle tactics that have used them for a different purpose. To take their venom, and coat their weapons with it. Causing not just an immediate threat, but a threat that can cause a lifetime of pain and difficulty. Instead of fighting to win the battle, they intend to win the war.
Atheus is doing the same here. Creating a weapon for the pure purpose of causing the most pain possible. Using a Deveronian Edge to cause immense pain just by even touching the blade, let alone having the possibility to cause the same pain for as long as the wound is afflicting the victim. Atheus also knows all too well of the corruption effects that can dominate peoples minds and lives. As such, Atheus has made it his personal goal to combine these two.
Having these two effects work hand in hand to have anyone with the dark side of the force, theoretically feel the pain of the gem for as long as they live, or if they are cleansed by the light. Even if Atheus happens to fight a Lightsided individual, The corruption effect also lasts as long as the gem causes pain to the victim through the wound still being fresh and not being completely healed. Thus making it a very real possibility to corrupt lightsiders, and thus cause them to enter the same state as any other dark sider struck with the weapon.
Aptly named "Venom's Blood" in the Sith language, and having a rather aptly made snake motif on the guard, and hilt, This sword is not one you ever want to be struck by.
- Intent: To create a very nasty sword to replace his older one.

- Treated by Sith Alchemy
- Improved Deveronian poison effect
- Corruption effect
- Treated with Sith Alchemy, it has all of the canon effects of said weapons. Nigh indestructible, Lightsaber resistance, deflects blaster bolts, lightning rod effect.
- Poisoned Blood: With a Deveronian Edge that has been treated with alchemy, the correctly termed venom's effect is increased in its potency. While it already causes immense pain just by touching it, and any cuts with a weapon will have that pain last until the wound has healed.
- Corruption: Birthed by the Dark side of the force, A natural corruption effect is placed upon anyone that is struck with the weapon. It acts much the same way as the Deveronian blood gem, and works in tandem with it. Should a Lightsider be struck with the weapon, the corruption would normally last for as long as the person has the wound.
- My Name is Venom: As a blade with both a deveronian edge, and a corruption effect, Atheus wanted to create a blade that would capitalize on both effects. When struck by the sword, the victim will feel two pains. Corruption to the Dark side, and the blood gem. Normally these two influences would leave when the wound was healed. However, as the weapon is a corruption whore, it has a secondary effect. As long as the person is corrupted by the dark side, either as a dark sider, Sith, or been struck by the weapon, they will feel the pain of the poison. As such, a Dark Jedi is struck with this weapon, and they will continue to feel the pain of the poison from the wound, and in their system, theoretically, as long as they are of the dark side, or until their death. Should a light sider be struck, they will feel the pain as long as they have the wound, and should they fall to the dark side, then they too, will be stuck in this perpetual existence of pain.
- Fear the Light: As a creation of the Dark Side, The light side of the force can destroy this weapon.
- Anti-venom: To fight this venom within the body, one must revert to the light side of the force, or have the venom expelled from their body via the light side of the force.
- Force Nullify: While the force is inert within a force nullification bubble, the corruption effect will not take place. Thus, if one is stuck by this blade, and knowing they will have this corruption effect, can stay within a nullification bubble to avoid the force corruption until the wound is healed. If they were struck by this blade, and the wound has healed, one could step within a Force nullification field to rid themselves of the force, and thus rid themselves of the pain. However, this means the person will be without the force, just as much as they would be without the pain.
- Droids & Armor Vs Skins: This weapon is very deadly against any biological creature, or being. Droids on the other hand... not so much. If facing a cyborg, it would have to have direct contact with skin. This also applies to armor as well. None of these effects can be used against armor. Only direct skin contact.
- Masochist: If you really feel like touching the blade, you are free to do so. However, if you want to own a sword like this, you need to maintain the blade, and make sure you yourself don't touch the blade. It's a pain in the ass to keep clean. So you won't be running someone though, and then wiping the blood off the sword with your bare hand all badass style.
