Strengths

• Curse of Cold - Pai Ling has a unique natural force ability that causes her to absorb energy, in the form of heat, from the air around her. The range is approximately half a meter around her. After some basic force training from a sith she learned to control it, when at its strongest it can reduce the temperature of anything nearby to near absolute zero.
• Energy Battery - The energy absorbed by her curse is stored within her body. Her body uses it to regulate her body temperature allowing her to be comfortable even in a frigid environment. She can also expel the energy from a single point of her body as kinetic energy, creating a strong kinetic blast.

Weaknesses

• Emotionally Stunted - Given her youth, Pai Ling does not feel or express emotions, especially positive emotions, to the same extent as a normal person. This makes it difficult for her to relate to others.
• Obsessed with Beauty - Pai Ling has an obsession with beauty above all else. She measures the worth of everything by this standard, and looks down on those she does not consider beautiful.

BIOGRAPHY:
At a young age Pai Ling's uncle attempted to force himself on her, during the stress her curse awoke and within moments her uncle had been frozen solid. After this even Pai Ling was unable to turn off the curse making it impossible to approach her safely and making it difficult for her to eat and drink normally. Unable or unwilling to deal with the challenge of raising her, Pai Ling's parents sold her into slavery.

As a slave Pai Ling was used as decoration for the rich. A status symbol that they could afford a beautiful slave for no other use than presentation. Not all her owners were satisfied with just looking though, and many attempted to get past her curse. None succeeded. Eventually all her owners grew bored and either sold her off or dumped her off somewhere, after which she had little choice but to find someone else willing to own her in exchange for keeping her alive.

After one such occurrence she met a beautiful sith by the name of Eris. Pai Ling became emotionally attached to this woman for the first time in her life, but the feelings were not returned. She did teach Pai Ling to control her curse though, freeing Pai Ling of her dependence on others. Now that she had control of her powers, Pai Ling to live the only way she knew how. Only this time as the slave owner rather than the slave.
