Born into the Paiiri family in Chiss space, Risin was soon found to be able to utilize Third Sight and was taken to become a Sky-Walker for the Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet. When it became obvious that she was not losing her abilities into her early teenage years she was taken into Project Ivant and offered the choice to become a Nightdragon. She accepted always having been a violent child. However, she would subsequently fail the tests over and over again despite her abilities not going away. Deemed a failure she had her memories manipulated and given back to her family having forgotten everything up until her final year of being a Sky-Walker. Told she had suffered an injury during a skirmish and lapsed into a Coma for two years she did not adjust well. Her attempts to join the Warriors of the Chiss Defense Forces were continuously denied. During her Wandering Year she ran away from Chiss Space and for a short time became a raider in the Chaos. Eventually she garnered the attention of the Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet after destroying a Nightdragon Man-of-War by crashing it into a moon and was forced to flee into Lesser Space.
The Bestoon Legacy
There, in a Galaxy engulfed in chaos and uncertainty she became a notorious pirate near and around Bestoon. Taking the moniker Nightdragon of Bestoon after the vessel that had sent her running to Lesser Space she carved out a small empire for herself in the Bestoon system but was removed from power by remnants of the Outer Rim Coalition and Kathol Outback forces. She eventually ended up in more civilized space, taking her class act to the hyperoutes of the Core all the way to the Mid Rim. Curiously her abilities in the Force grew in Lesser Space more than they ever did in Chiss Space and the Chaos, leading some to believe her to be a disgraced Nightdragon of the Chiss Defense Forces or a deserter after the destruction of Csilla. Eventually she fell in with the Rebel Alliance, their semi-antagonistic symbiotic relationship creating a regular stream of business for her.
