Description:
The Paladin Personal Transport is a vessel created by Coren Starchaser over the course of adventures with, and for the use by Spark Finn. Since joining the Underground the pair had began adventuring around the galaxy together, running Underground missions and working on developing the Blood Trail in the Unknown Regions. It did not go unnoticed by Coren, a Warden of the Sky and man with a preference to being aboard starships that Spark was always co-piloting his ships. And while the variety of vessels Coren Starchaser has procured filled a majority of roles, he couldn't shake the idea that Spark didn't have a ship of her own.

And this bothered him.

So the man had started to do his best to procure parts on his travels, many of them alone, and ship the parts off to the Dawn Treader. When he would come back from missions to Oswaft Station, he would take time to spend in the aging ImpStar's machine shop. A unique space frame from an Unknown Regions craft was melded with standard dual-cannon turrets to provide a web of protection, as well as two flextube launchers to be used with a variety of warheads.

Approaching his co-professor at the Oswaft Station would procure the rights to add Silk components to this unique craft, but only the ones that there were room for. On top of that, Coren did his best to modify the navigation computer with his own routes as well as maps purchased from Baobab Astrography.

The ship remained in the executive hangar of the Dawn Treader during her construction, taking up the spot traditionally held by Coren's Tachyon Rising, which was definitely getting her mileage along the Blood Trail and working with his Ruisto-class Exploration Vessel, the Event Horizon.

The final steps were the matter of procuring a WhisperDrive from Santhe Corporation and Nightshadow from Arakyd Industries.

As Coren is very protective of Spark Finn, he wanted to provide her with a ship that fulfilled her needs of advanced computing hardware, and sensors as well as keeping her safe and hidden, with the WhisperDrive, and Nightshadow. Also, as they completed the Calirssian Hyperdrive assembly together, he had one of them installed on this vessel.

You're going to want to drop this thing below 50 meters to get speed and maneuverability 5. Otherwise, 7 is about as fast as you can get as a standard (since this is corvette length). Faster than that typically requires either development threads or special engines from the Marketplace.

Actually... With the Armament, hanger capacity, exc... I think you'd get better use out of this overall if you made it in the 35-65 meter range. And it lets you dock with larger ships easier and you take up fewer meters if you want to have this thing tag along in a fleeting thread at some point.

We're going for the WhisperDrive, spoke to the owner of Santhe and have permission to NPC out the purchase thread, etc. Would that quality the ship with a new length of 52m to keep 5 for speed? Or is that now split-the-difference?
