Palm Saber (Need some help with the actual layout.)

My first attempt at making things on Chaos! I actually need some help with it though sense I'm not sure on a lot of the topics on what to post exactly. So if someone could help, that would be great!

Credit goes to JackJasra for the image! Of course the hilt would be built into the arm, not strapped onto the side.

Intent: The purpose of the weapon is to give Krest (Or even Templars in general) a way to be armed even when disarmed. With the emmiter hidden in the palm and the saber hilt itself within the cybernetic arm, only if they're literally disarmed will they be weaponless.

Development Thread: Will make one!

Manufacturer: Not sure!

Model: No idea yet.

Affiliation: CIS

Modularity:

Production: Mass

Material: Not entirely sure on this one either.

Description: The palm saber is just that. A saber in your palm. Of course, this can't be placed in a real hand and requires that at least your forearm down be cybernetic to fit the saber components nessisary. The hilt itself his completely hidden and will not activate unless the robotic hand is locked back in place, but it can still be detected if someone were to scan the arm itself. There is no way to hide the oddness of the circetry within the arm, and it is sure to be deactivated by a captor if found. If the arm is damaged in any way, it is very likely that the blade will not work due to the mechanics being damaged as well.

Classification: Short Saber

Size: One Handed

Length: 1 m

Weight: 1.5 kg

Other Features: I'll figure this out too! Hopefully.

So, my computer hiccuped.

First things. This is built into the arm, right? So it could be concealed without being in a robe's sleeves? Which would burn?

Awesome. So then it could be used short sleeve. Really thats a simple concern. How would it look in the arm? Would it come out of the hand? I'm just trying to visualize this right meow.

The hand could either be synthflesh or pure robotic. The emiter would be in the palm however and when the blade turns on the hand snaps back and locks itself so the hand wont be damaged.

I'm not that good with tech, so I'm just fore-warning.
Are you wanting this to be a unique for Krest piece? Or a produced piece? If its the latter, I feel like maybe a basic 'inter changeable attachment cybernetic arm' might be a good place to start off, and to allow for modularity? Clearly thats speculation, but having a stun baton or grappling hook would be useful. But definitely something more to flesh out the Description?

Or a bottle opener lol

Oohh an interchangeable attachment would be fun. Change to what you need. And a produce piece would be more of what I want, I don't want to have stuff no one else can. @[member="Marek Starchaser"]

In that case, just my own style of writing, I'd write the Description like a sales pitch and a tech sheet?

As for production, I'm not sure where this could get built BlasTech and Baktoid maybe, but I'm not keen on a specific cybernetics company that the Techno Union owns yet. *Makes suggestions*

If you're making this like a civilian style, modularity would go up to include a variety of tech tools and other pieces.
Production to Mass.
Materials would be Synthflesh, surgical grade durasteel, and either some sort of heretic Vong tech or a synth-net neural interface system.

Classification just to 'cybernetic enhancement'

Droids. But not Cybernetic in the way of organic to machine interface.
But making one would not hurt...... *HINT HINT*

I like this idea very much my friend/teacher! but maybe instead of getting synth-flesh maybe have a force containment field? Have it emmited around the hand so the people *like me* who might use it don't have to have their hand cut off or be replaced with different skin. (mostly for IC reasons for the people not wanting to get any augmentation done to their bodies)
