Paper Moon (Knight K'sara)

[member="Knight K'sara"]

She could almost taste it in the air while she was moving, the fresh rainwater and in front of her the slime trail in the mud from the large grub. It was a fun place here in the jungle but as Willa moved she was speaking. "Redemption Squad stay at the ship and defend it, do not move unless directed to by me." She heard the confirmation of it from under the breath of Dane while she was moving her attention. The smg in her hand while she slid it into the sheath on her ankle below the holster.

The snap of the line launcher in place as she crouched down letting her gun rise up to push carefully aside some of the branches. She flicked her eyes back and worth watching for anything before she was moving towards the mouth of a cave the trail went into. She was moving and carefully stayed at the mouth as she slightly glared wishing she had something she could use better then a flamer attachment that could work and illuminate the cave. She pulled back to prepare herself.

Oh, how K'sara enjoyed jungle moons. The last jungle moon she was on was Yavin IV. This time she was on Dxun. Why? Because why not? The tomb that was here was full of information of a past era long forgotten. The Old Republic Era, back during the Mandaloran War, no... even further back than that. That's how truly rich this tomb was. K'sara stood before the tomb and took quick surveillance, assuring that she could enter without risk of being blown up or killed... which even the assurance of that wasn't that big a benefactor. In truth, that assurance could be just as deadly. With this in mind she walked away from the vicinity and moved toward the cave that led its way back toward the abandoned Ordo clan camp , activating her lightsaber just so she could sense any shadows with her blind eyes.

Willa moved quickly now, going through the cave as she was pushing herself to stay on the grubs trail but also to not alert it to her presence. She didn't want it stopping and rolling onto her. That idea sent a chill down her flexible spine as she took a turn in the narrow path and the ground slipped. Slick with the slime from the underbelly of the taozin grub and she could see it out the corner of her eye slithering as she was holding onto the stone. The chute for lack of a better term smooths from centuries of water run off until she couldn't find a grip and was holding on. The screech of something loud coming her way as she saw eyes reflected in the light but not a body and she had to let go. Sliding on her stomach just before claws were dislodging stone where she was and now her chin was numb. Scraped and bleeding when she came to the bottom of the chute and there was a pop from her body but not her knees. They just kind of went jelly for a moment and she was laying there while light and the sight of a camp was in the semi distance. Old flag poles where banners would have been hung and she used the cave to lift herself up while limbing forward into the one end. Her smg in her hand while she scanned sensing for a brief moment someone but not able to tell where.

She also started to feel a pull of someone else being in the same cave as her. A Force nudge that was telling her to follow the "scent". With that K'sara raced forward, nearly slipping on a little slime. She went purely off of instinct since vision was always out of the question. Finally it seemed to be strong. She heard the sound of pained breathing. "Who is out there?" She said as she activated Force Sense and started looking for who it could be.

She heard it and then felt it, a sudden wash of energy wrapping over her skin as Willa turned and held her gunlevel mostly. She had taken to leaning against a tree and was remaining there for the moment until she spoke. "I could ask the same thing to you, not many come out this far or at all." She was used to being alone and while she did have a squad they were untested, proven dangerous to others and above all something she couldn't send off. "Who are you?"

"You've heard of the tomb of Freedon Nadd, right? I'm doing my research.... Anyway, why do I smell blood? Are you injured?" The lightsaber flicked off and she kept herself well tuned into the surroundings, her hearing and smelling were fine tuned especially since she's blind. The concern was well in her voice. She was starting to sound more and more Jedi every day.

Willa looked at her and dropped the gun as she moved forward a little. "I went down a chute in the mountain while running, hurt myself on the way down. Now just waiting for the beasts in this jungle to come and try before making it back to my ship." She stood up from the tree and was again glad for the lack of bone it meant when she moved forward and her leg gave away nothing was going to grind and break even more except her pride. "As for the tomb... yeah I know of it. Protected a jedi or two when they were exploring it."

Protected a Jedi or two...

Ranger? No... she couldn't have been a ranger... it was nearly impossible to find a ranger nowadays. Regardless it made no difference. She would do just what any other Jedi would do. "Come here... I will heal your wounds as best as I can. Sometimes a hero needs to be saved." Perhaps those weren't the wisest of words, but they were her choice words. She then felt a small tug. The Force was calling again. "You... The Force seems to swell around you..."

Willa looked at her and her mind clicked... after the clock ticked and lightbulb went on anyways... This woman could use the force and she walked over there. Slightly limping but unslinging the large Anti-material rifle on her back she could use it as a small walking stick with the stock on the ground and holding it. Her eyes remained on the woman as she got over to her and sat down with more a falling down motion. Right onto her backside and she was glad for the no bones again... might have broken her tailbone and needed one of those rings to sit on. For now though she just took off some of the armor sections showing bruises and discoloration along her legs. "I have some skills with the force but unless you go all dogmatic and give up everything most of the jedi orders don't like teaching. Why I joined the ranger's after havok squad got thrown away."

The half Twi'lek went to her knees. "Where exactly does it hurt? I am blind, so I can't really tell where everything is that I need to heal." She shook her head and sighed. She hated that one aspect of the Jedi Order, and it was one she intended to fight, especially since with as many Sith as there were, they needed all the help they could get. "I don't care about that foolish rule. I believe anyone that has the desire to do good with their abilities and their potential, has the desire and the right to be taught. How much do you dislike the Sith cult?"

Willa looked at the woman and her being blind meant... bad tactical but she had seen jedi do far more damage with less sight. "Here" She moved her hand to touch the jedi's and guide them to her legs while thinking about where she stood with the sith. Alright so she wasn't pro them but they were offering something that all vahla's wanted. A homeworld again whether by finding their lost home by taking the galaxy or by simply forging a new home. That was why most of her people had joined with them. "They aredangerous, what they promise my people is a control that can be dangled in front of them because it is the one thing no one else is willing to offer."

Her hands softly glowed as she used Heal on the female. "Then we are on the same side. I'm an Ex Sith, who no longer stands with them, and no longer tolerates their ideals. I'm falling back to the light. Because I was a valuable asset to them, sometimes I'm hunted... sometimes they try to get me killed... I cannot allow that tyranny to exist anymore.... I wish for their fall so no one I care about has to suffer the same.... except for maybe the one man I walked away from with my path change..." She said that with a hint of pain in her voice that would signal she loved him.

Willa looked at her as she was feeling the energy in her body, relaxing a little more as she was there with a release of air. She remained tense while her smg was in her hand and she looked at the woman now more carefully. She seemed in pain and Willa knew that pain offering a hand on her shoulder while she was keeping her senses on the area around them. She knew going across Dxun and getting careless could let a Cannock attack you and those were just things that ate everything. "Then in that we can be in agreement and I have no plans to kill you.... I suppose I can even help you as is a duty. Then ranger's might be small but there is still a few who remember to help out the jedi and enemies of the sith." She offered a hand. "I am Willamina Isard."

Upon the shoulder offering she shook her head. "I brought this pain to myself, and its one only I can heal, whether it means to be the one killing him, or being struck down by him." She then gave a soft smile. "Let's get off this rock... Maalraas are on your scent." She got up and used Pull to lift Willa to her feet. "K'sara Korr."

Willa rose up and slung her sniper on her back as she put her boots back on. No point surviving the fall and creatures and then dying from an infection on a stubbed toe. She offered a bow of her head while she was walking and looked at the woman. "Do you have a ship to get out of here?" She wasn't certain but her ship was around and they could get out of here safely to familiar space... Also she had guns those were good in case some of the creatures tried to attack. "I do hope though K'sara you find a way to heal. To many jedi are falling or disappearing, good to have someone coming back."

"I've been around for almost 900 years. I only recently learned how to get passed the Jedi killing my Jedi master while I was in the Order during the battle of Yavin." She said and moved forward knowing where her ship was. "Come, you'll get to see the ARC fighter I built."

"Perhaps the Order will allow me back." She said softly.

Willa looked at her while she was holding her smg and slid it into the holster on her hip as she spoke. "Well you don't look a day over eight hundred." She said it with a smirk on her face and then thought about the different orders. "And well it depends on which order you are going back to. There are a number of them now that have formed and cropped up scattered around the galaxy." She was still walking and ran a hand through her hair. "All think they are right and all think they are better.... also a good amount of them have grievances with each other."

"Perhaps the original Order." She said as she activated her lightsaber and cut through the chest of a Maalras. Eventually they came to an ARC-170 and K'sara grinned. "My baby..."

Willa was looking at her and that was as good a place as any, she wasn't going to get into the semantics about the orders and how ones have made their own orders just she looked at the saber and her hand was on her smg while she was moving about. Then she looked at the ship and raised an eyebrow taking it in. It was an old ship that was for sure but she had seen some flying around with retro designed ships before while she spoke. "It is a nice one, My ship is over the ridge."

"I built this myself. Pissed off an Admiral with it too." She laughed and X3 hooted in reply. "Hello X3. Meet Willamina. Willamina, meet my astromech, also built by me. The ship is a two seater, which I will need to get a new ship since there are more students than masters now, and I've got one sitting at base." She said and offered a ride as she jumped into the cockpit.
