So, the Partisans, a radical rebel cell hellbent on freedom and liberty at all costs. A group I have always found rather interesting, and one I'm hoping to make a reality here on Chaos. I am aware that faction creation is temporarily suspended, but that doesn't mean we can't start threading them at least.
So, the plan is this:
The Partisans will be a loose knit bunch of cells scattered through the galaxy, cooperating with each other frequently but in ways that prevent them from knowing each other's names, identities, or locations to keep each cell secure. We'll be going up against majors, specifically the Sith Empire. I've already talked to Darth Carnifex ahead of time to prevent any kind of salt, and he says he and his faction are totally down for this kind of roleplay. We'll mostly be freeing slaves, attempted assassinations, starting riots, attacking and hopefully destroying key military assets, and maybe the occasional kidnapping.
I would also like the group to be untrusting of force users, believing Jedi compromise people's autonomy through mind tricks and thus infringe on their freedom while Sith just want to dominate. Obviously your characters will not be bound by this idea, and force users are welcome, but the character I will be using will have this philosophy.
What about going major? If I see enough support among members that is certainly an avenue we could pursue, a revolutionary group attempting to form some sort of stable government with their ideals. But, it is not necessary or currently a direct goal of mine. Right now we just want to bomb some poor sith military bases.
