Private Past Meets Present

Location: Pamarthe
Time: Midnight Local Time

The world of Pamarthe was a place that Jake had never been in the slightest. Sitting near a lake, Jake looked at the pond. "What use is there for a relic of the past like me?" He asked, as he looked at the lake, and skipped a pebble across the lake. He had a frown on his face as he asked that out loud. He didn't know what his purpose in a new universe would be, to be honest. He admittedly was sad that retrieval of most of his equipment would be impossible. After all, he didn't have a ship that was in good working order to say the least. His would need a lot of work in order to get it fully functional and they didn't make the parts he needed to repair the ship anymore.

Brooke, through a retcon or another, had been raised on Pamarthe, with her parents, well, between Pamarthe and Chandrilla, and she made sure to visit her home now that her life was put back together, to visit her friends, and he family who survived her parents. The young woman had flown her Z-95 to the world, and had passed through atmosphere before engaging in a silly little game of ‘tag’ with a random pilot. Growing up on the world, children were used to piloting their own watercraft and it translated to piloting fighters.

And if there was someone around, well, it made for a bit of fun to rest oneself against another. And a Z95 was an older fighter but hers was still fairly nimble and agile. But her trip home had found her at one of the lakes on the larger islands. She was working on spells that needed water, and some of the things she had her family watching.

She didn’t need much, but she had a few things. While working on the spell, another healing spell of sorts, to call water to heal and protect, she saw a small rock skipping over the surface. With the moon being full, she could make out someone around the lake, and could feel a bit of unease.

Putting her spell to bed, she picked up her trident, and knapsack of her gunna… her gear. She wore her typical witch outfit, a bit revealing, but she did live on tropical worlds, still, the shawl made out of repurposed fishing net helped cover herself. She took a breath and made her way towards the source of the stone.

"What use am I, in the current era?" repeated Jake, as he continued to skip the rocks. He had truly lost his confidence in himself, and his belief in himself. After all, he was just a relic of the past. What did he want to do with himself present? He didn't really know what he could do with himself. There was no job he wanted to do for himself at present. Sure he was training Kat, but yeah. "Jedi, and Sith have all built lives for themselves. People have moved on and technology has advanced to the point where I don't understand it anymore."

He needed to figure out a lot about the science and technology of the present.
