From within the confines of two rocks, Vereshin watched the desert keenly for the arrival of the man who had sought him out. He placed his gloved hand against one of the rocks and squinted to see the ripples in space triggered by the perfect, black sphere which sat in the middle of a rocky crevice. His fingers twitched, manipulating the spell from afar, in time with the movements of his lips as they recited the words which he used to ensnare the man in it's gravitational pull. The man’s name was Talon and he knew that Vereshin was going to be there, but the sorcerer saw no point in giving him a standard greeting, it wasn’t as fun that way.

Extending a hand, Vereshin coiled his fingers in the air, inserting his telekinetic reach through the mass and tightening it in the space it occupied, making all the more dense as Talon was pulled into it's vicinity. When Talon clambered over the rocks and squeezed into the crevice, he would be met with the black surface of the sphere, as well as the ripples in time which throbbed from it's centre, but no Vereshin. As he climbed over the rocks, the larger the sphere grew and before Talon knew it, he would not be able to turn back, not until he had bypassed the other side. From his position within the two rocks, Vereshin furrowed his brow and concentrated, applying more force to the spell.

"By the force which compacts the surrounding mass, draw in the matter I present." Vereshin said, trying to keep his voice low. As he pulled on the large, opaque mass, it's gravitational field became stronger and attracted Talon to it's center. "Slow down the rate at which they proceed and shift their frame of reference, bypass the point before which they arrive." He said, uttering the spell at the level of a hush. As Talon unknowingly approached the singularity, the pull of it's mass would slow down his position in time and shove his frame of reference backwards. Vereshin arched his fingers in a spherical shape, yanking at the center of the orb, which drew Talon further back in time the closer he walked towards it, but the space around him would remain unchanged and he would be none the wiser.

"Take them back, relative only to my position." With a final command, Vereshin set the pull of the singularity in motion, transporting both Talon and himself into the past. By using his own position as a focal point, he bound the singularity to him, who it would obey for the entirety of their journey back in time.

Retracting his hand, Vereshin watched eagerly as Talon climbed over the rocks towards the singularity, then jumped off the rock and onto the sand, his black coat billowing out from behind him as he landed. Wearing pointed-toed boots with many silver buckles, his attire was far from appropriate for the desert of Geonosis, but the presence of the orb cooled the temperature as it consumed the heat around them. He entwined his fingers and held his hands against his diaphragm as he approached Talon, with whom he exchanged a glance. There was a flat clearing between the two rocks where they could both stand, surrounding the jagged crevice where the singularity sat. Vereshin's thin lips parted in a wide small and he held out his hands warmly, inviting the other man to introduce himself.

"Welcome Talon, I've been expecting you." Vereshin said, then offered Talon a hand to shake if he wished. He adjusted his lavender bowtie and slicked back his glossy hair, which he had dyed a stark, white streak in as of recent. "How do you like my black hole?" He exclaimed with a wide smile, eager to show off his creation. With a gloved hand, he gestured towards the miniature singularity which sat in the middle of the two rocks.

"It serves as a gateway in space and time, but unlike a black hole on a cosmic scale, those who go in can return to the present." Vereshin said, smiling widely. While Talon and himself were in the past, they would only be able to return to the present, or rather Talon's view of the present, once they had bypassed the entirety of his past up until the moment the traveled there. Travelling forward in time however, was not something Vereshin had figured out yet, but this was a step in the right direction. "I am most looking forward to using it to locate your memories." The time traveler said jovially, tilting his head towards Talon.

"But before I take you back in time, I must ask, what are the last things you remember since then?" He asked, curious to know what Talon remembered up until losing his memory.

"Do you have any feint recollection of the events you can no longer remember, perhaps any locations?" Vereshin asked as he walked around Talon and stood in front of the black hole. He held out his hands and felt the waves in gravity throbbing along the space around it, listening to the gentle song they played. "What do you feel upon standing here?" He asked, needing to know the sensation Talon was experiencing upon standing on one of the sights from his past. Although neither of them knew what had transpired here, Talon had been able to lead Vereshin there through feeling alone.

Of course, Talon would also be able to feel the shift in time he had experienced upon walking into the event horizon. Just a tremor, nothing more, for he did not know yet that Vereshin had already used it to transport them back in time. Now, the only way they could return was by traveling across the entire span of Talon's past, up until his memories disappeared. While Vereshin had succeeded in using a black hole to travel backwards in time, he was still stuck on a way to go forward, but this recent creation was the first step towards that. Sliding his hands into his pockets, Vereshin slipped on a pair of black, round sunglasses and awaited Talon's response.

Prologue
Talon will soon find he will be faced with decisions that will soon alter his destiny. He believes he is a man of honor loyal to the Confederacy, very shortly he will uncover truths about himself he would think unfathomable.

He is beginning to believe he wiped his own memory, and through all his research he cannot find an record of his existence within the Confederacy. A day will come when he finds out that he is not the man he believes himself to be; his life during past five years has been a lie. Through heart wrenching discoveries as he regains his memories he will see that he was a spy, and learn of his own betrayal to the SJO and the Confederacy.Talon will have to face the consequences of his own actions which may cost him every thing, not only his soul, perhaps his own life.

Talon searched out he had become very well known in the Confederacy. He believed the force had led him to Verishin his ability to take him back to the place where it all began. Talon had a sense of fear, parts of him was afraid of what he might find out about himself. Troubling thoughts crossed his mind as he thought more on the matter, the force was leading him down a path in the end he may have wished to have never known.

Talon put down the data pad detailing the precise location where he would finally meet Verishin . Packing only the bare essentials for the trek he left leaving little trace of his whereabouts or where he was going. More than likely no one would be searching for him until he discovers his true identity .
The rocky path was treacherous, through crevasses and ravines, Talon had to watch his step, one false move he could either fall through a crevasse and fend himself trapped with no escape. Or twist an ankle, break his leg or something of the like. Before he knew it he passed through a black hole, he felt the energy manipulate the surroundings around himself only to find his newly acquaintance before him

Talon looked around not entirely sure what happened, deep inside he felt something change in the energy surrounding the environment he was now in. Talon reached out and shook his hand.
“Pleasure to finally meet you” he took another look around.” Well it was an interesting for sure. Ceases to amaze me all the unknown in the universe. To be honest the last memory I have is my Padawan falling to the dark side, and something to do with the Silver Jedi, every thing else is vague, almost as if it was a blurry photograph.” Other than that Talon had very little to go on.”I hope this helps.

Upon jumping off the rock, Vereshin held out his hands widely to greet the other man, as though he was showing off some fantastic trick. His cheeks dented with the smile which stretched his features, he placed a hand against his chest and bowed regally to Talon, who stood like a deer in front of headlights, uncertain and oblivious to the force he had walked into. Under Vereshin's arm, he held a black, wide brimmed hat, which he out on his head and tilted slightly, then gave Talon his hand to shake. The grim was firm, if not slightly nervous and Vereshin released his hand with a smile which bore two rows of his pitch black teeth. When Talon remarked about Vereshin's tiny black hole, the sorcerer beamed, always delighted to hear that somebody was interested in his work.

"Why thank you!" He smiled, before lowering his head and looking around at the black hole, his tone having dropped to a somber level. At Talon's comment about all the unknown in the Universe, Vereshin sighed, feel somewhat humbled by the sheer scale of the notion. "Yes, and there's only a fraction of it which we do understand." He said, smoothing his palm over the surface of the singularity, it's mass distorting the appearance of his hand. Although pulling incessantly on Talon and himself, the black hole was locked by Vereshin's spell and would only suck them in when he commanded it to do so. Sliding his feet across the sand, he gazed into the center hypnotically, before snapping around all of a sudden.

"I intend to understand the rest." Was all the time traveling sorcerer said.

As Talon regaled the earliest events he could remember, Vereshin backed away, his hands outstretched and invited Talon to walk towards the black hole with him. His lips peeled back into a smile which was both welcoming and sinister as he stared over the rocks behind Talon. With a tilt of his head, he motioned to the desert, where the a young Padawan who bore the same resemblance to Talon's own was running across the sand, running from something which neither of them could answer. Behind the young man was Talon himself, running after the youngster as he refused to conform to the tenants of the Light Side. Vereshin stood still, his fingers entwined and stared Talon down.

"That helps, thank you, Talon." Vereshin said softly. The cries of the Padawan could be heard in the distance as the event from Talon's past repeated itself. When Talon would turned around, Vereshin smiled and held out his hands in revelation, the black hole sucking the space behind him. "Your past began to reoccur the moment you stepped into the event horizon of my black hole, only by traversing it in it's entirety can we go back to the present." He said plainly, as though there was nothing extraordinary about the sentence. A chuckle accompanied his words, followed by a sly wink and a cheeky smile as he took Talon by the hand. With a slight tug, he pulled him forward and turned around to face the black hole, which he reached out and caressed, his palm hovering above it's perfect, black surface.

"By the force which compacts the surrounding mass, receive us." Vereshin said, altering the properties of the spell he had cast earlier. He compressed Talon and himself into the mass of the singularity, which began to pull them inward. The shape of them distorted by it's pull and Talon would begin to feel like a great force was compressing him into a neat little ball. "Draw us into it's center, from where we may arrive on the side unseen." Vereshin said and thrust his hand forward, compacting the singularity with a torrent of Force. The pull sucked Talon and himself off their feet and into the black center, twisting the space on which they stood and compressing the mass of them, adding to the density of the singularity. While inside, they would travel through a pitch, black tunnel, indistinguishable to the naked eye.

Whispers of the past stirred within the mass, their source lost to time. The force dragged both Vereshin and Talon's reference frames backwards, causing them to experience an unnerving pull at their stream of conscious thought, as though the time they remembered was being slowed down. The transition took less than a second, before Vereshin pulled it outward and ejected Talon and himself onto the other side of the hole. Vereshin hit the sand first, almost catching some in his mouth as he landed on the ground, his overcoat billowing out behind. Sputtering, he pulled himself to his feet and brushed the sand off his front, before putting his sunglasses back on. Talon fell down beside him, no less disoriented from the sensation of being sucked inside a miniature black hole.

Vereshin looked up at the sky. Where there would have been a sun, was a black sphere in it's place, the light of the sky shining garishly around it. He turned around to face Talon and smiled, gripping his shoulder lightly to reassure him that everything was under control, well, mostly. Slicking back his hair, Vereshin turned and walked ahead, where the foot prints of Talon's Padawan had been left behind.

"Your Padawan falling to the Dark Side is the first lead I have to your memories, they passed by here." Vereshin said, pointing to the foot prints. The past version of Talon himself was already far ahead, so they would not have to worry about encountering him and the danger of Talon being overtaken in time by his past. Following the foot prints, Vereshin listened to the cry of a young man in the distance and looked up to see where it had come from, only to be met with an eccentric looking signpost in the middle of the desert. The different signs of the post lead to various events in Talon's past and in front of each sign, was a constant assigned to their position in time.

"Pahaha! There's even constants assigned to your memories!" Vereshin laughed aloud. On top of the sign post was a derivative and when derived, resulted in the point in time at which Talon's memories met with the present. Once he was done laughing, Vereshin turned around to face him, while wiping an imaginary tear from under his eye. "See the letters beside your memories? Concentrate on them, reach out to them through the Force and they will show you where your memories have transpired." Vereshin said, leaning down beside Talon. He took off his hat and fanned himself while Talon focused on locating the events in his past which had been ripped from his memory.
