The small convoy of trade ships flew in loose formation. Mostly bulk freighters, the ships bore no emblems or marks of allegiance. Smugglers, working together to move a large haul. Their course took them through the region of space near the world of Ord Janos. Barely an hour into arriving in the system, a fleet of fighter craft were launched from the world, and began a rapid assault on the convoy. Unprepared for the assault, two of the freighters were crippled in the opening moments, followed closely by the others after a brief fire fight.
Following after the fighters, three transports from Ord Janos advanced on the remnants of the smuggler convoy, latching on to docking ports of the still intact ships. Moments later, the sparks of cutting units began.

Thall Marr stood just inside the open hatchway of the smuggler ship bridge. Spread out around the room, the few surviving crewman were being bound together by the Sons of Freedom soldiers, while Marr looked through the ship manifest. "Sansanna spice...droid control chips...several containers of bacta...hardly worth the effort to take this fleet." With each item listed, Marr slowly pressed his foot down harder on the captains leg, where a blaster bolt had gone clean through. The mans strangled cries echoed around the room as Marr continued to look through the list.
Turning to his men, Marr briefly waved his blaster through the air, signaling his men. Nodding, they turned to the kneeling bridge crew, and brought their blasters up to their heads. Before they could pull the trigger, the captain began to shout against his gag, and Marr raised his hand, halting his men. Crouching down, he pulled the captains gag out of his mouth, and leaning back as the man coughed up blood briefly. Looking up at Marr, the man let out a brief sigh before speaking. "We have twenty crates of Carsunum spice in the hold. Its hidden in secret compartments underneath the Sansanna spice."
Smiling briefly, Marr nodded his head at the captains words. "Very clever, though, potentially an issue either way. Still, thank you for the help captain." Standing up, Marr tapped his fingers against his temple, and the sound of blaster shots in the bridge rang out for a few moments, followed by the sound of bodies hitting the deck. As the captain watched his crew be killed, Marr turned and began to walk out of the bridge. "You should have just told me from the beginning my friend." As his men began to follow him out, one of them turned to shoot the captain as well, but Marr waved the man off.
As the last of his men exited the bridge, Marr moved over to the door control, looking back into the bridge. "Have a pleasant day." In one fluid motion, Marr raised his blaster up, and fired four rounds into the already weakened view ports at the front of the bridge. At the same time, he quickly hit the door controls, and they slid shut just as the bridge was vented into space. Turning to his men, he quickly ushered them on. "Get down to the hold and offload their cargo. Then strip these ships of anything useful. We might get a few useful spare parts." As the pirates set off to follow his instructions, Marr himself made his way back to the shuttle waiting to take him back to Ord Janos.
