- Like most Heavy Repeaters, it can and is recommended to be mounted rather than carried
- In spite of its rapid-fire, the gun is built with a targeting assistance AI that allows the shots to trace through scanners, overall making the weapon far more accurate than other repeaters. This can be turned off, if so wished.
- It has four modes:
- Bolts: Extremely quick energy shots with very high power.
- HI Bolts: Extremely Quick and Powerful version of Bolts made to fight against Heavily Armored Units but with more recoil.
- Micro-Grenades: Shoots out Micro-Grenades - longer distance, more power, but far less virility.
- Bombardment: Essentially a tactical bomb, capable of shooting grenades over thousands of meters away.
- The pop-out HUD on the side has a predictive projectile system that allows it to show where the grenade will drop.
- Duranium and Dallorain Alloys keep it from overheating, allowing longer usage.
- A custom-generator can be requested that was made for the PBA-03 that weighs only 20 Kg and can be carried on the back, allowing infinite shots at the price of mobility. Rather good trade when in comparison to Light Repeaters having a similar weighted generator with less power. This generator had increased cooling systems as well, allowing more aggressive use for longer periods of time.
- An easily carried collapsible Tripod can be carried with the Heavy Repeater and it, along with the generator, can take less than twenty seconds to set up.
- HEAVY-HITTER: This gun is likely the best warfare firearm he has made so far. Quick, accurate, and powerful, with the ability to switch between short-ranged skirmishes to long-ranged assaults, the blaster is powerful on all fronts.
- LIGHTS-OUT: Its assistant AI's targeting sensors can malfunction under intense radiation and interference.
- WEIGHT-LIFTING: Its an overall physically taxing gun to use due to its large and heavy frame combined with its recoil. The tripod will save you a lot of that trouble, though.
The third firearm in the PBA Line, the "Calamity" Class Heavy Repeater is likely his best weapon for battlefield situations yet, proving versatile and capable on a variety of situations. While it may not equal the sheer power that the previous designs have made, the PBA-03 is the most practical so far.
