Strengths:
- Escort - Sharing the typical traits of an escort frigate, Peacekeeper-class frigates have powerful engines that allows them to keep up with the craft they are escorting and create battle formations with ease.
- Escort - Being a support vessel and not a fully qualified battleship, the armaments and defenses of Peacekeeper frigates are relatively weak.
- Dependent - The comms systems of a Peacekeeper escort frigate are relatively underdeveloped, as it is not intended for command or frontline combat. Jamming is highly effective against Peacekeeper frigates, and they often have to stay close to the vessels they are escorting to accurately receive battle data and commands.
- Snapped - Due to its minimalist design, the Peacekeeper frigate has a thin and exposed central strip that can easily be broken. While the Peacekeeper is built to automatically seal all entrances upon being cut and continue functioning as two different platforms, the ship's mobility is severely limited and power cannot be spread as easily.
Engineers from ORME examined the design of the Nebulon-B frigate and the many variants developed in more recent years. Eventually, they came to a consensus and started making their own variant of the frigate. While keeping most of the basic aspects of the Nebulon-B, the Peacekeeper frigate is also slightly faster and has more modern systems capable of greater resistance to interdiction and E-WAR.
