SPECIAL FEATURES

STRENGTHS

• As it is solid matter forged from the Force. Exposure to Null Force zones does not disable its functions.
• Any attempts to somehow circumvent this will fail as the attached binding will feed off any excess Force energy from the user. Explosive use of Force energy will cause the bindings to grow in size and bind the prisoner even further.
• Due to the esoteric techniques involved in its creation, it is practically impossible to reverse-engineer.
• Cuts the Force Adept off from using the Dark Side of the Force.

WEAKNESSES

• The construction process is time consuming and rather draining. While a great amount can be produced with a capable team. It is not something that can be done on the fly.
• For extended use. The binings must be attuned to the specific force signature of the individual it is bound to.
• Ineffective at holding Jedi.
• Exceptionally powerful Force Adepts require greater amounts of binding.
• The production and distribution of the bindings are heavily regulated and controlled. It is typically custom made.

DESCRIPTION
Ever since returning to the Galactic Stage, the humane imprisonment and rehabilitation of Sith had always been an issue at the forefront of Aaran Tafo's mind. It was not until he received instruction from an ancient Mist-Weaver a bolt of inspiration struck him. It was difficult to properly deal with demigods capable of impossible feats. The only solutions were drugging, the use of innocent animals or full body bindings for extended periods of time.

So it was, at the discovery of Force-spun silk. Material that could feed off the Force itself to grow and repair itself. Aaran got to work on his newest passion project. Using esoteric methods and much trail and error. He finally created the Penance Bindings. The perfect solution to imprisoning Force Adepts while allowing them to retain their dignity.

Of course the actual method of construction is one of the Warden of Peace's best kept secrets. The only individuals allowed to access the Holocron that contains the information are those he vets personally. Knowing how dangerous it could be if this material fell into the wrong hands, he ensured to that all construction was heavily regulated and controlled. With the construction of each batch carefully monitored by him and a select team of Jedi Artisans.

Alright this has gotten some discussion and there is a lot that needs to be worked on.

Production: Minor. Usable by the SIA, New Jedi Order, GADF Strike Teams and Specialised Correctional Facilities within Galactic Alliance space.

For the amount of power in this sub, most said it would likely be better at semi-unique but we will touch on this more later.

Material: Force-spun silk.

This will need a link and a canon basis. There have been force energy based materials made but under specific circumstances.

This will need some examples please as that is broad for some of the things in star wars.

Virtually impossible to remove without the assistance of a Jedi who has access to specialised techniques.

This is quickly approaching god-modding territory. It can't be destroyed, it can't be removed and it can't be nullified.

Is fully effective either wrapping around an individual's limbs rendering them immobile, or simply wrapped around one's wrist or ankle.

The lack of limitation if you just have it around someones wrist makes this overtly powerful and lacking real methods to counter it.

Yeah even something made from solid force energy would not be immune to force nullification. WIthout a canon basis for this it will need to be removed or turned into the standard when force objects encounter force nullification effects.

Dictating others actions is not allowed. The language here would need to be altered.

There is a lot and initial reactions seemed to be outright denial as the concept is not bad and there have been such things made in the past but they had limitations and weaknesses that were able to allow someone bound to slip out of them. The wording is going to need edits to take away definitive language. If these were used then at anytime whoever is wearing them should have the means to be able to get out if they change their mind. You can't throw these on and god mod their character. Balance wise it has little in the way of weakness while it can't be destroyed, nullified or slipped out of... and all at the highest production force items can get. In your edits the more powerful it is the lower its production should become. These as they are I would only accept unique. TOne them down and we can go to semi-unique or higher from there.
