Name: Pendraha (Clan) Thagan
Age: 38
Species: Sakiyan
Sex: Male
Division and Rank: Alliance Army - Captain
Force Sensitive: Yes

Strengths and Weaknesses
Thagan has natural gifts that more regular sentients (see Humans) cannot match, with superior sensory perception, reflexes, strength and speed.
Thagan is a veteran of not only combat but of training with the Force, and his prowess on the battlefield speaks for itself.
Thanks to his Sensory Perception, Thagan has sensitive sight, and very bright lights can essentially blind him for a time.
Though trying to follow the Jedi way, Thagan is prideful and stubborn - he will find it difficult to break away from something he wishes to prove.
Appearance
Thagan stands at just over six feet tall, with an intense leer and an intimidating appearance that gives most sentients in general pause. He has very dark skin that blends in well with shadowy environments, and dark, reddish eyes that only add to his discomforting demeanour. He has pointed ears and high cheekbones, his fang-like pointed teeth sometimes being brought to bare as well.

Personal History
Born on Sakiya into one of the less prominent Clans (or Prides) you can find across the planet, Thagan quickly became the star of his own show when he showed his hunting prowess from a young age. He was talented and had a ruthless streak, able to hunt and kill almost anything, including other powerful specimens from other Prides, who sought to put down the rising star before he became a problem for their influence. Thagan thought he was unstoppable, having killed so many others at such a young age.
Eventually however, he began to yearn for somethng more. Most Sakiyans never left their home system, and preferred to err on the side of caution, planning ahead for the worst. Thagan, though still holding to his people's ideals of honour and survival through efficiency, found that he did not fit in with the rest of them. With so much blood on his hands, he felt conflicted. He began to wonder whether this was the beginning and end of it all; just more killing until he became too old to kill.
With that, the young Sakiyan left his home, and travelled the galaxy. He operated as a bounty hunter, mercenary, smuggler, sector ranger, anything he could grasp onto. None of them gave him the purpose, the ideals that he was seeking. Eventually, he was found by an old Human Jedi, who claimed to serve a great purpose that Thagan could dedicate himself to. The Sakiyan was found to be very strong in the force, and was brought into the New Jedi Order as a Padawan.
Though old for a learner, Thagan picked things up quickly, excelling in combat arts and physical challenges. He struggled somewhat with the more scholarly aspect of his learning, having received little education at home and was barely able to read Basic at the time. His pride was always an issue, and one that he was told he would have to continually work on - it would never truly go away.
Thagan was eventually named a Jedi Knight, a great honour and what he saw as the greatest privelige he could have been granted. He served in a frontline capacity for the Galactic Alliance, appearing on battlefields against enemies from all sides, such as The Sith Empire and First Order. Over time, he became a veteran of actual warfare as opposed to the hunt, and his skills in soldiering became more refined with each engagement.
The betrayal of Taeli Raaf and the collapse of Coruscant was devastating for the Sakiyan, especially as he was away from the main battle targets at the time of the coordinated attacks on the Capital, Fondor, Lothal, Chandrila and so many other worlds. He stuck with his unit and helped regroup them with the rest of the Alliance Remnants, joining them and becoming part of what was now referred to as a 'Shattered Order'. He keeps his status as a former Jedi on a need-to-know basis, especally thanks to the distrust now surrounding his order.
