Location: Coruscant Underworld, Fight Club: Galaxy Arena

The Galaxy arena was at full capacity tonight. Well full by a struggling MMA organizations standards. Backstage was filled with many fighters, athletic trainers, and producers running around preparing for the upcoming pay per view event tonight. Some fighters were wrapping their battered and bruised arms with tape, while some were in the corner stretching and doing push ups.

Yet the main thing on all of their minds was whether or not, the commissioner will pay them. Everyone knew that Otto Benjie was struggling with pay per view buys for the past year and was desperate to attract eyeballs to the tv. They all knew he was planning something big. Taon Janson entered the arena his bag slung over his shoulder and can already sense the unease around the locker room. He sighed knowing that it was going to be a long night, as an up and coming fighter, Toan needed as many wins under his belt but he also wanted to get paid as well.

He sat on one of the crates observing the lockerroom. "Looks like Otto paid for cheap." Toan said as a large man walked by him heading towards what looked like the interview room.

"What's his deal?" Toan muttered before heading to the bathroom to change.

Celeste Chars stalked the backstage area of the Galaxy Arena waiting for a good interview. She had gotten good reviews from the holochannels for her work because she wasn't afraid to get into the dirt and blood of the world that she found was her ticket to a small slice of fame. Celeste wouldn't let a closed male locker room door get in the way of asking the salacious question. The fact that she was easy on the eyes and not scared of the beasts who participated in the fight club scene made her stick out even more.

Otto Benjie had given her an exclusive contract to cover backstage for his company. Celeste's presence might not be causing pay per view rates to soar off the charts, but she was getting his organization some additional notoriety due to some viral situations she had put herself in. Celeste was pretty sure that she caught Otto staring down her shirt, at any exposed skin that her outfit allowed and once or twice even up her skirt. If Otto was a pig it wouldn't surprise Celeste any. At least Otto called her by her name...well that wasn't true. He called her C.C. That was close enough in this environment. Most of the fighters just called her "Hey you", "Girl", "Woman", or other things that Celeste had to censor from the holovids. Of course the fact that she stuck her microphone in the face of losing fighters just as often as winners probably had to do with the treatment she received. It would be worth it when she grabbed onto that one big story that would see her name skyrocket to true reporting fame all over the galaxy.

This was the first time that Celeste had arranged to enter the backstage area before the event had started. The tension was extremely high, but that seemed to be as much about the questions of if the fighters would get paid as it was about whether they would win, lose, be injured or any other outcome of the bouts that were on the card. The subject of her first interview approached. A large beast of a man, that just figured. Otto loved to throw Celeste to the wolves. As "The Butcher" Bao Vley approached for what was bound to be a memorable interview, Celeste noticed a young fighter that she hadn't seen before sitting on a crate muttering about his pay. She felt sorry for him, but there was no time to follow up as the young man was off to the bathroom to change (someplace Celeste wouldn't have minded following) and Bao nearly had the ground shaking as he got close enough for Celeste to start the interview. "Celeste Chars here backstage with 'The Butcher' Bao Vley," she said raising her microphone to her lips and smiling to look as pretty as possible. "What do you think about your opponent Butcher? Have any predictions?"

Bao Vley stumbled into the small interviewing room, his blue eyes scanning the room. This was it? This is what Otto had for an arena? An old dump once reserved for Coruscant citizens to dump their waste in? And of course, Otto kept promising Bao that he would book for a fight tonight but the man locked himself inside of his office and refused to come out despite him punching the door a few times. His assistant: Plars told Bao that he was busy with organizing the card something that Bao balked at. Normally fights were booked weeks in advance, this was truly amateur hour. What's worse was an irritating blonde little chit who was barely dressed. The woman thought she was attractive and in many ways she was but the way she showed off only added Bao agitation. Maybe Otto thought a little eye candy would draw eyes.

However, the question Celeste asked was what put Bao over the edge. Him having an opponent?! Either she was stupid or maybe just maybe she had inside information on Otto's fight card. "That's the thing," Bao said his voice booming in front of the small and slim woman. "I don't know anything about my opponent because the boss is a dumb chit who does things last minute."

Bao he stared down at Celeste. "Do you know anything about him?" He asked. "Come on you're a journalist are you not?! You got the inside scoop right?!"
