SPECIAL FEATURES

• The Aquatic Enviro-Shields are designed so they can be activated underwater, encompassing a person, emptying the water around them while filling it with a type 1 or a limited type 2 atmosphere. It can function independently for a remaining 20 minutes of regular use of breathing and moderate movement, but if the liquid the person is submerged in is water, is able to siphon necessary resources for continued flow of oxygen for another hour and a half of active use. It has some aid for temperature regulation, though very limited.
• The Enviro-shield generator can be easily clipped to a belt, or has its own small wrap so it can be tied around the waist. It will use a suction to stay in contact once activated.
• As an additional safety feature due to limitations of some species movement underwater, the generator is capable of limited Repulsorlift type movement. This is typically faster than a humanoid can swim, but will drain the time to ⅗ of its normal capacity.
• Booster packs can be purchased that vastly increase the suits time and double the repulsorlift speed.

STRENGTHS

• Limited type 2 atmosphere for abnormal species. This has to be a pre-set, and will only last the 20 minutes and not the additional hour and a half.

WEAKNESSES

• Though technically a shield, the system has limited protection, as it is already taking on pressure from the water around it. Most attacks actually still get through, but are merely slowed slightly.
• EMP/ION weaponry pose a potential danger.
• Not designed to work outside of water, due to pressure differences. Will reset automatically if attempted.
• Use of the repulsor tech for motion reduces overall time.
• The additional pack does increase systems, but would resemble the size of a small backpack.

DESCRIPTION
The Personal Aquatic Enviro-Shield generators were a design of Mariah Marr’s after a deal for an atargatis skin. Formally, they were made for short term underwater travel, or as emergencies for underwater vehicle failures. Not so formally, they were meant specifically so wearers of the atargatis skin wouldn’t be as in danger of drowning should their skins be damaged, as the basic enviro-shield is rather easy to carry and use, and designed to be able to be activated underwater. Though the primary design is for specifically water based environments, and for type 1 atmosphere breathers, the generator is able to have a type 2 system but with more limited functionality. The designs are permitted to be purchased by almost any company, with Mariah herself only needing to make a relatively small portion of the overall profit. And specifically requesting a certain fair price range for them.
