Strengths
- [+] Mobility - Considering the weight and strength of the intended user, the Wildfire is pretty lightweight, providing above average defense, kilo for kilo.
- [+] The Panic Gun - A 10 gauge slugthrower, mounted to the left vambrace of the armor set. It's single shot, and it offers downright nasty recoil (see below), but if Nisha's got a terentatek slobbering all over her visor and she needs to take that thing down fast, she'll be thankful for this little beauty.
- [+] Crushgaunts - Melee combatants beware; there are many very tiny, very fragile bones in a humanoid's body.
Weaknesses
- [-] Lightsaber Vulnerability - Due to not being protected by beskar plates, the torso and legs (save the knees) of this suit are more vulnerable to lightsaber strikes - for all intents and purposes, these areas have a quality of 4 versus lightsaber strikes, not 7.
- [-] Kickback - Use of the Panic Gun will dislocate, break, jellify, or otherwise render Nisha's arm inoperable in some horribly painful manner. There is no system in place to handle the recoil, and the projectile is fired by a frankly ludicrous amount of propellant.
DESCRIPTION
To call Nisha Skaiyr a traditionalist would be, quite frankly, the understatement of the century. She comes from a planet where plate armor is the cutting edge of protective gear, and she still feels more comfortable with a sword than with a rifle.
But in the modern, high tech Galaxy, that just won't always cut it. So, regrettably, this old-school barbarian realized she needed an upgrade.
And that's where Corondex Arms came in. Working alongside a few of the company's technicians, Nisha commissioned two pieces of gear - one, a rifle, and the other, a set of armor - the Personal Rapid Assault Unit, dubbed "Wildfire" by the intended wearer.
The Wildfire contains a number of special features, from the common to those specific to Nisha's needs. Starting at the altogether basic is the tactical webbing that comes standard with every half-decent suit of armor. Then we have the suit's HUD, or Heads Up Display, which provides a host of useful information; the condition of the suit, user's vital signs, and a map of the area (digitally constructed in real time by a camera in the helmet). There's also a built-in respirator in the helmet, necessitated by Nisha's condition. Beyond that, there are two other systems of note; the inclusion of crushgaunts in the gloves, for one thing. The final accessory is a single-shot slugthrower built into the arm of the left vambrace; used in life or death situations, or if the wearer wishes to avoid capture or slow, agonizing death. The Panic Gun fires a 10 gauge slug at point blank range, sure to kill whatever it is the wearer needs killed.
Ninety-Nine Names, written in Indoumodon script, have been etched into the beskar plates of the Wildfire.
