Phantrx was betrayed and left on Lothal, where a fellow Jedi had left him helpless in a crevice. Stuck underneath fallen rocks, Phantrx had no hope, or so he thought. Pez emerged from the shadows and lifted the rocks from off the dying body of Phantrx. All Phantrx could do was watch as the magnificent beast helped him. At first, Phantrx was scared, a wolf that towered over him was slowly approaching, and Phantrx was barely alive, but that is when he discovered the Loth-Wolves biggest secret...
Pez pushed his nose into the side of Phantrx, causing him to wince in pain, but his wounds began to heal to an extent. Phantrx stood and looked at the beast, and that's when he realised that he was forever in debt to the wolf, whom he was now going to call Pez. However, Phantrx wondered why Pez was alone, wolves were meant to hunt and travel in packs, right?
That's when their true bond was made, as two wolves jumped down upon them and began to attack Pez, Phantrx and his new wolf companion used the force, together, to push the wolves away and caused them to run. Now, Phantrx's debt had been repaid, and the two were forever bonded.

- Personality: Energetic and extremely loyal to Phantrx, but can become very aggressive when in battle and Phantrx is in danger. Pez stays calm and talks to Phantrx in his times of need, and acts as a guardian over Phantrx.
- Training: The same training that all Loth-Wolves seemingly have, as they are able to use force powers in the wild. Pez was able to use his force powers before Phantrx tamed him.
- Pez acts as a large, strong and powerful battle companion. He can be mounted and rode for quick travel, and due to his sheer size, is very strong and can take many blaster hits due to his thick fur. Pez is also very clever and can use the force as most Loth-Wolves can, making him a very powerful being to fight against. However, due to him being a wolf, he cannot wield weapons and does not wear any armour, meaning his force use and sheer size are the only weapons he is able to use as well as being the only defence he has.
- Force Use: Loth-Wolves are very attuned with the force, as is Pez. This means he can use the force as his only weapon.
- Sheer Size: Loth-Wolves tower over many species, including humans, meaning their sheer size allows them to be dominant in battles against many opponents, and control fights against single, powerful opponents as well.
- Weapons: As Pez is a wolf, he is unable to wield weapons, and therefore the force and his paws are his only weapons.
- Bond: Pez's bond is straight to Phantrx, meaning when Phantrx is in danger, Pez will sacrifice his life for him, and will not stop until revenge is attained.
