  • Standard Energy Bomblets generate a 10 meter radius splash zone upon impact. Catastrophic damage within the 1 meter radius, Severe damage within the 3 meter radius, Moderate damage within a 6 meter radius, and Minor damage to the 10 meter radius from point of impact. Two Standard Bomblets colliding generates a 15 meter radius splash zone. Generating Catastrophic damage within a 3 meter radius, Severe damage within a 6 meter radius, Moderate damage within a 9 meter radius, and Minor damage to a 15 meter radius from point of impact.
  • EMP Bomblets generate a 30 meter radius splash zone upon impact. The entire radius is susceptible to catastrophic electronic damage. Two EMP Bomblets colliding generate a 80 meter splash zone radius. The Entire Radius is susceptible to catastrophic damage.

Top Grade Ethaerium Previously only using pure energy from the Reactor to produce energy based torpedoes, the damage potential has been upscaled to an alarming factor with the addition of wrapping a small amount of Ethaerium into a magnetic sheath.
Additional Spin Cycles Through the use of Magnetic Accelerator coils to sling the magnetic wrapped core downrange, the range and integrity of each torpedo has extended range capabilities and cohesive energy output over the previous iteration. As well as producing far more charges per recharge.
Reduced Spin Times While used for high rates of fire in other iterations of magnetic accelerated weapons in the PGEM catalog, the Spin time for each torpedo is only marginally better than the previous iteration for safety precautions.
Dumb Torpedo The usual weakness of guided munitions is the reliance upon sensors. The Bomblet Generator lacks such systems and relies on operator skill to send the weapon towards its intended target.

Top Grade Ethaerium Due to the use of Top Grade Ethaerium Gas in the blend, precautions had to be taken to make sure of the bomblet Generators continued operation even under duress and high output functions. A malfunction or direct hit while magnetically wrapping the gas core could result in catastrophic explosions.
Highly "Focused" While much faster than its previous iteration, the munitions still suffer from a lack of dedicated propulsion. As such, initial velocity and direction allows for most Starfighers to simply avoid the weapon in flight.
Energy Giant While bringing an astounding punch to the fight, the sheer amount of heat produced by this weapons system would make even civilian grade scanners light up with ease as a large heat source alone.
Announcement Being that the energy projectiles are hyper dense gas pockets contained within a magnetic sheath, only the first strike will be a surprise. And while capable of long range engagements to better hide their initial location, continuing volleys will easily pinpoint the location of the vessel wielding these weapons with scans directed to weapon energy signatures.
Caught in the Blast Given that the munitions has a splash radius, it is possible to cause friendly fire with this weapon. Clear communication and warnings are needed when deploying this weapon on tightly packed battlefields.

Another revisit to the products within her catalog, Niki decided to attempt a unique spin on the energy bomblet generator she so frequently enjoyed using.

Blending an ion field generator, an atmospheric field generator, and gamma ray projector into the system and finely tuning them until the magnetic sheath could reliably contain the hyper excited bomblet. Requiring the de-ionization system be disengaged prior to using the alternate setting, the EMP bomblet that was generated was a marked success for generating alternate munitions within the limited system. This iteration brought with it a new feature as a result of tinkering with the systems in the form of a splash radius of damage upon impact. Reliably generating a cohesive pattern of physically destructive capabilities while also reliably generating a thorough and cohesive electromagnetic pulse in the alternate setting.

Further exploratory testing revealed that colliding two bomblets of either setting generated an even greater splash effect, Content with her findings, the system was sent to for final approvals before the schematics were sent to the production lines.
