Armored Up - The outer plating has been bolstered to give the ship a healthy resistance to incoming fire.
Speed - Focusing on streamlining the starship for atmospheric use rather than being entirely space bound, the ship is naturally capable of high speeds given the surface design.
Agility - With a design as streamlined weight managed, and over-engineered as the Stinger, the ship is designed to be naturally agile

I'm Sorry Dave - The vessel is more than capable of being operated by a single pilot that is tied to the on board droid flight system. Anyone not cleared by the system however might find themselves locked in the flight cabin or the system non-responsive. As well, when operated by a single pilot with the on board droid, the combat capabilities of the vessel are reduced.
Variables - When the VOID systems are active, it detracts from the appropriate capabilities of the vessel; i.e. making the vessel slower but more maneuverable and vice versa.
Ion Trails The downside of having variable output Ion drives is the noticeable ion trail it leaves behind that even a shoddy sensor system could follow.

The need for a decent starfighter in the PGEM lineup sought ideas from all around the company as to what would be an ideal system. With their prior designs focusing on a lack of organic pilots, the sudden shift in design left much to be discussed on the included systems that would be required and how best to utilize the larger but limited available space. Deciding against an astromech, the inbuilt nature of the Queen's Knight system was the obvious choice for an assistant of any sort. Cramming the universal sensor and communications package in along with upgrades to further enhance it was a quick follow up as well. With space quickly being eaten up by internal systems and the need for life support, it was decided to take the majority of the excess away from the weapons capability of the system by externalizing what systems they could rather than allow it to be internally housed.
Achieving this by placing the barrels of the assault laser cannons outside the hull and limiting the starship to two missile mounts rather than a full magazine system that was favored almost universally. The only caveat coming in the form the older bomblet generator the company had on hand being mounted in the belly.
Feeling this was a successful prototype for future designs to come for the PGEM lineup, the schematics were uploaded to the PGEM system and ready for production.
