  • Durability - Made of Songsteel and reinforced with Phrik, The Soul Sabers are nearly indestructible.
  • Reach - The The Soul Sabers possess all the qualities of a Force Pike, in strengths, that would be the immense reach given by the length of the hilt.
  • Fire-Power - Due to the Barab and Lignan Crystals utilised in the 'focusing' of the blade, the lightsaber blade is extremely hot, capable of igniting flammable items from simply being near it.
WEAKNESSES
  • Dark Temptation - The The Soul Sabers' focusing crystals are both Dark Side Oriented, making it easy to be pulled to the Dark Side of the Force easier when using them.
  • Big and Heavy - In comparison to a regular humanoid, The Soul Sabers are the size of said humanoid's leg but of average weight.
  • Blade of Fire - Due to the Barab and Lignan Crystals utilised in the 'focusing' of the blade, the lightsaber blade is extremely unstable, and extremely inaccurate when deflecting blaster bolts, at which it is already gloriously inefficient at due to it's long and unwieldly hilt.
  • Cortosis - The Soul Sabers are as susceptible as any other lightsaber to the effects of Cortosis, and could be temporarily shorted out, should they come into contact with it.
  • Waterworks - Not possessing a bifurcating cyclical-ignition pulse, The Soul Sabers are rendered all but useless in water.
DESCRIPTION

When one imagines a Force-Wielding guard that specialise in Close-Quarters Combat, the image of a cloaked figure wielding a blazing sword of fire is often not far from ones mind. As such, it would be most unbefitting for the Phobus Praesidius, Masters of Force and Blade, to not meet such a standard and vision.

And far be it from Taramaz Arcturus, the Master of the Phobus Praesidius and himself a talented saber smith and blade battler, to forgo this tradition. Particularly when one's weapon held more purpose than a simple blade, but a multipurpose tool aswell. But it would be unbefitting for them to forge their own blades.

To do so would be unbefitting of the uniform image presented by their armour and apparel. To satisfy the aesthetic appeal required, they were fashioned blades not dissimilar from those of their own Master.
