- Armor includes two different shields that can be enabled with the press of a button; the first being a molecular shield, and the second a shield that can deflect sonic and EMP/ION attacks, but only while it is enabled.
- The Spidershell Silk and the TYI Flex Armor ensure a high resistance against lightsabers, blasters, and slugs.
- Features armor plating reinforced with spun-plast
- Can form a hermetic seal in space for a short time if seals are not ruined.
- Armor plating can be switched quickly if damaged, as they are fastened on with belts and hidden latches.
- Force Mask allows for resistance to mental attacks when activated.
- Arginium removed in lieu of adding extra protection from laser and kinetic fire.
- If the Faraday Cage is not enabled, a good EMP/ION attack could ensure it will never be activated, as well as destroy the comm-link attacked to the suit.
- A general armor style, meant for better protection in a straight out fire fight.
- Not as flexible, or mobile as the Phase I, but still fairly light.
- Cannot form a hermetic seal in space if seals are ruined in a fight.
- Plates held in place with fastened points and belts, can be cut/ripped away.
- Force Mask disrupts helpful Force Abilities such as battle Meditation while active, and disrupts the users ability to use the force themselves.
The Phase I set of armor was an outstanding success, but in a firefight, sometimes the basics of what people want are just a touch more. The Phase II builds upon this, adding a personal helmet and keeping the dark colors with additional plating for firefight engagements. Some material's were removed in choice for others, being a general fit for guards or even foot soldiers of the Agents.
Numerous attempts were made to lighten the whole ensemble, from unique rigging systems to use of questionable materials. In the end, the whole of the engineering core simply fell back to the simplest idea of allowing the weight to be carried by the shoulders and hips, two of the strongest points on the body rather than making separate limbs carry the weight.
The belt system was thus created. A few preliminary attempts before a design was settled on, allowing the weight to be placed squarely on the hips and shoulders. Fastened directly to the plates, the belt system also allows for quick removal of plates to replace damaged units with fresh ones. Most become accustomed to the armor after a solid week of wearing it, some in shorter periods of time with active training while wearing the armor.
