Following the first prototype's theft at the hands of pirates, Phaseera Manufacturing deemed the design and concept too valuable to just drop after one theft. So instead, the company went to work on designing and creating a more improved version of their earlier prototype - providing the wearer with more protection, functionality and with more features.
A few years later, the second prototype, having been designed in secret at one of Phaseera's private facilities on Denon, was nearly ready for mass production for military use. However, after some digging and hacking, the human-turned AI Xan Deesa discovered of the suit's existence. She aided the half-Sephi outlaw, Konor, who was the 'owner' of Phaseera's original prototype, in stealing the second one.
