DESCRIPTION

The Phelar-Class Speeder Bike was the favored individual patrol vehicle of the Silver Shield Group. It was named after a city on the planet Eriadu. The Spinara-Class was designed by the research and development division of the Silver Shield Group, though manufacturing was contracted out to the HumSec Consortium. Many of its support systems were manufactured separately by Jaeger Solutions.
In fitting with the Silver Shield Group's general style, the Phelar-Class was weighed down with a number of expensive accouterments. It featured an array of advanced sensors, scanners, and communication systems, as well as an on-board artificial intelligence.
The inclusion of a long-range terrain scanner allowed the on-board AI to assist with rapid course adjustments in obstacle-heavy areas, dramatically reducing the likelihood of collisions. The AI would, likewise, prevent unauthorized persons from operating the vehicle.
Cybernetically augmented operators were additionally able to directly interface with their bikes, enabling a more precise degree of control and handling.
Phelar-Class Speeder Bikes were most frequently utilized for mundane law enforcement, security, and patrol operations. They also saw use as first response vehicles and were used to rapidly establish checkpoints, or otherwise cordon off areas.
