+ Dauntless: Whether by her training on Conviction under the harsh rule of her father or by her development of a renegade streak, the Somber Hollow knows very little fear in the face of danger. While this would possibly be a weakness in others, Phiros'ma has managed to take this fearlessness and use it for a tactical advantage. By almost always working in tandem with her fellow defectors from House Giedfield, Phiros'ma will serve as the aggressor for the enemy at the time, distracting them with audacious brazenness long enough for her kin to attack with a myriad of strategic strikes. Additionally, this dauntless attitude ensures that the Somber Hollow will never immediately flee under the threat of death, sell-out her comrades, and will always be seen on the front lines with her soldiers. The latter fact has also given Phiros'ma a great deal of respect within the defector forces and many often refer to themselves as the "Somber Knights" as a tribute to her willingness to fight alongside them.
+ Enduring Strategist: Thanks to her years of training under the master overseers of House Giedfield, Phiros'ma has been forged into a combatant capable of hanging with the best of the best the Galaxy can offer by sheer resiliency and tactical mastery alone. It was due to her brilliant planning that her father's Consortium was able to subdue the rebelling planet of Noxis following her uncle's demise, a feat even Kascalion deemed near-impossible to accomplish due to the utter chaos of the planet's landscape. Currently, the Somber Hollow's strategies have led the defectors to great victories in establishing a migrant fleet for which to live in. Her ability to survive and heal from critical wounds has also been noted as being "astounding," with one instance described as "a miracle, and nothing less." It is believed by some that out of all children in Kascalion's massive lineage, only Phiros'ma perfectly inherited his utter resistance to damage and healing factor, which several scientists have expressed a great desire to study for the synthesis of healing solvents.
+ Socially Sophisticated: Despite her demeanor in combat and relative preference for it, Phiros'ma has displayed an aristocrat's behavior in social outings, a trait she developed by reading old records of her father as a young man (an enormous contrast to his current self). This behavior allows the Somber Hollow to meld into most esteemed communities for the sake of infiltration and planning, so much so that she has even developed an alter ego within the realm of Galactic nobility. Under this, she has served as the catalyst for the fall of many a corrupt House, the advancement of her fellow defectors, and even the gain of her father's enemies.
- Risk Taker: Phiros'ma is wont to take unnecessary risks for the sake of her plans and tactics, partially due to her dauntlessness and sheer endurance. Various instances of this trait include charging an entire battalion by her lonesome to infiltrating a star destroyer with only her pistols and a single companion. While this has proven useful at times, it also has resulted in the Somber Hollow suffering great damage that puts her out of commission for a deal of time.
- Iconoclastic: Even when possessing a quite holding on her sanity, and a solid public etiquette, there is one massive personal flaw that the Somber Hollow must contend with. Because of the deranged beliefs of her father's fanatical followers, Phiros'ma boasts a terrible loathing for most things religion and will go out of her way to either insult said religions or destroy objects of worship. She often attempts to justify her actions by using her father as an example and how it all results in madness and destruction, much to the anger and chagrin of those affected.
- Possessive: Because of her upbringing and plethora of siblings, with whom she often feuded as a child and teenager, Phiros'ma can be greatly possessive of what is hers. Weapons, armor, close friends and family, and even romantic partners are often fiercely protected and even sometimes isolated from whatever the Somber Hollow perceives as a threat. This can cause and has caused great strains between her and the other defectors from House Giedfield, although not to the point of hostility typical from her early life. However, these strains have kept her from rising in the ranks of the defectors, ironically enough, despite being their primary strategist, something she secretly resents and perceives as "unfair."
