Phrik Heist

Hey all, I'm planning on doing a heist of some Phrik.

The target I would like to hit is Radiant Dawn Phrik Mine on Seltos, though I would like to hear from those in charge of the mine.
[member="Aurelia Saelari"] - You are the one that put the mine into existence.
[member="Maelion Liates"] - Archangel Research is listed as the secret backer of the Mine, so as such I figured I should at least let you know what I wish to do.

If the attack on Seltos isn't in the cards for whatever reason, I'll be looking to hit Demonsgate, which, so far as I know, isn't aligned with anyone or any faction.

I'd welcome some help in this endeavor, though mind you I won't be taking just anyone and I'm not planning on allowing any mass slaughter in this, though some combat could be added in a more fair flavor.

I also welcome help in planning, post ideas below.

Indeed. It is defended by HRDs with bolters after all. If a raid takes place, Callisto Scarlett or I shall be there.

Is much rather go after an abandoned mine, more likely to get the goods and be gone.

[member="Sam Turain"] Is this still something you'd be interested in doing? If so, Davi would be happy to join you.

Demonsgate could be doable. The Red Ravens have a small mining outpost there that's lightly defended. Then again, it's the Red Ravens; crossing an underworld faction that powerful might not be worth the haul. We should also clear the raid with them beforehand if we decide to go that route. Titan Industries also has a mining facility there. It's a lot bigger, but presumably also better defended. Lastly, it's possible to go more scavenge than steal; a lot of abandoned mines are left over from when the Moross Crusade controlled the planet.

According to some quick research, every other planet where Phrik can be found is under the control of a major faction. Doesn't rule them out, but it'd probably mean pissing someone off no matter how we go about it. The easiest one to slip into and out of would be Mandalorian-occupied Gromas 16, since it's mostly barren and not a major hub for them. Then again, Mandalorians. Alternatively, we could try to rip off the Verpine in the Roche Asteroids; the Republic claims the system, but it's a business relationship, so we might get away with it.

Let me know what sounds good to you (if you're still up for this, I know it's been a while) and we can go from there.

Are you planning to walk past your own defenses and donate a pile of one of the galaxy's most valuable materials to a bunch of outlaws you've never met before? It sounds like a rather brief and anticlimactic thread. If you want to come, perhaps we should consider another target.

Alrighty, I'll do some research this morning and either this afternoon or evening I will be able to have a post up. I figure we'll meet up off planet, in a Cantina or something, and have you ladies meet Sam there after having responded to his query on some sort of underworld holonet.
