It was an interesting day for Jedi Knight Kai Sera to say the least. The young dark-haired man had arrived in the system to drop off some Tibanna Gas he had managed to collect from Bespin a few weeks prior. With the current state of the Jedi Order the need for the gas had been dire, but even then there was enough for him to spare for his rebel allies. Kai actually made it a point to help out the rebellion whenever possible. The knight wanted to try and establish good relations with the rebels since he felt he would be working with them fairly often with the war about to escalate. So, when he arrived and received a transmission that there was a Jedi hopeful on the surface he found himself wondering who this person was and how they managed to make their way to Terminus.
Landing on the base the Jedi immediately made sure the rebels there received his own shipment of Tibanna gas. Some meager credits were exchanged and his fuel tank was topped off at no additional charge to him. It only took a few minutes before all the containers of gas were off of his ship and his fuel tank was filled up. Once everything was shipshape Kai decided it was time to find this supposed Jedi hopeful. Pulling the deck officer aside, Kai was very plain and to the point. "I've received word that there might be a Jedi Hopeful on this station. Do you think you can point me in the direction where I might be able to find this person?"
The deck officer, a Sullustan male paused for a second to think before explaining to him what he knew. "I'm not entirely certain master Jedi. I heard a rumor that there was a Jedi on the base, but I haven't seen anything with my own two eyes to prove that there is one or not. If there was one I'd talk to one of the commanders. I'm sure they would know."
With a pleasant smile Kai thanked the alien before making his way into the station where he would be on the lookout for the hopeful. Making a first impression would be very important; they didn't want to scare this new Force Sensitive off before they even got around to their first lesson. Walking into the base, Kai tried to sense this new person, eventually found his way to one of the base's sub-commanders who happened to be making one of their rounds about the area. After a brief, but polite and pleasant conversation, Kai headed off to the mess hall where he believed the hopeful would be for breakfast. Kai also discovered that the hopeful in question was a female in her twenties as well as a rough description. At the very least he guessed that would be a very interesting meeting. Upon entering the mess hall Kai reached out in the Force as he looked for the female in question. It didn't take him long to spot her just as she was described. She was fairly attractive, and her Force presence was strong. She was the one. Approaching her, Kai presented himself as friendly and warm both in physical disposition and through the Force so she would know not to be too worried about this new person who just approached her.
