STRENGTHS:
[ Oh, The Humanity. ] - Pike has been outfitted with the latest and best that iBorg and other well-known cybernetics corporations have to offer. Most of the money of her contracts went into her bodyware and it shows.
[ No One Like Me ] - If there is one thing that Alavar knows it’s how to formulate, execute and cash in anything from a low-ball assassination to a bounty run or a stealthy heist. Little to anything can really faze her during the job.
WEAKNESSES:
[ Oh, The Humanity. ] - As mentioned before Pike Alavar has been outfitted with the latest and best that cybertech corporations are providing, this means ion weaponry have a greater effect on her than on other non-cyborg individuals.
[ Bloody Mary ] - Has a tendency to take things personally which often results in her taking things too far, in and out of a job, which has landed her a certain reputation. Not everyone is willing to hire a mercenary with a proven track record of leaving a bloody trail of bodies behind her.
[ No One Like Me ] - That same experience and talent leaves her fairly overconfident. Sometimes this leaves her blindsided when someone just as talented comes along and she inadvertently underestimates them.
BIOGRAPHY:
The story of Pike Alavar is a convoluted mess decorated with with many half-truths and liberally applied lies to mask the sparingly few scattered truths in the middle of it all. There is exactly one portion of her story that can be taken at face-value: the fact that Pike Alavar isn’t her real name.
Other than that, it’s anyone’s guess who she was before she took up her blaster and started roaming the Galaxy in pursuit of riches and booty.
Some say she was a Duch’a of the Hapes Cluster, tired of the constant bickering and scheming of the Hapan Court. Others mention the possibility of being a upscale courtesan for one of the many Dukes of Serenno - though that particular rumor never gets repeated in her presence, for fear of being gutted like the last person bringing it up to her face.
There are other rumors, of course. Some more realistic and others completely outrageous, but Pike usually does little to nothing to stop them.
It adds to the character she is cultivating and reputation is the one thing that truly matters in her business.
Someone who has been following Alavar’s exploits could be aware of a few facts that have surfaced over the years.
Shortly after Alec Rekali’s theft of the golden Hutt statue from the Promenade and her subsequent blacklisting from Hutt Space, Pike made a toast in her name in one of the Huttese cantinas. She was the only one walking away with no new bruises on her name.
She participated in both moderately recent invasions of Barab I. The first one she fought on the side of the Black Sun - securing an important mining facility - whilst during the second one she fought against the Black Sun while breaching that same Barab mining facility.
The current ruling Lady of a prominent Tapani noble House has a seat reserved next to her, just in case she comes to visit.
