APPEARANCE:
The first thing many would notice of Pilan is the floating tendrils attached to her head that move as if they were eternally underwater. They start in marigold yellow, the color of her skin, and eventually end in a deeper magenta. Her eyes are a deep emerald green complimenting her skin tone well.
Her face has a strong pair of cheekbones that sit strongly above her slightly more delicate jawline. Connected to her jaw is her rather square chin, slightly upturned to allow a shallow divot to form under her plump mauve lips. The Mikkians body is shaped much like an hourglass though still sturdy and toned. Average Jedi garb draped against her athletic build, the earthy tones helping to ground the saturated yellow skin of the alien.

BIOGRAPHY:
Much of Pilan's life was formed on her species' homeworld of Mikkia. Honor, Loyalty, Honesty, and perseverance were often the great virtues taught to her by her people. As she grew she was often told of the Jedi, an ancient order of magic monks protecting the virtues the Mikkians so often taught to her, protecting the Galaxy from the threat of annihilation time and time again. Pilan never wanted to be apart of something more. Luckily the young Mikkian began to display that the greatest asset of the Jedi was on her side Force. The first thing she had ever done was to prevent a rock from hitting her as she was playing outside with the other kids. Immediately she ran to her mom to tell her of the news, which came with great joy to both. The Jedi at the time felt a flower bloom in the energy of the force, and they felt it on Mikkia.

It wasn't long before a spaceship arrived on the mysterious home of the Mikkians and the great honor bestowed upon Pilan to begin her Jedi training. Though she was given time to gather her things and say her farewells, the start of her training was rather immediate. Many years go by and Pilan finds herself at the end of her youngling training and was now prepared to be picked by a Master to be their Padawan. The young Mikkian often was overlooked by many of the Masters as she had done well but wasn't as immediately gifted as the other students. She often watched many of her friends be picked to begin their next step while she had to stay behind and wait for her time. Her patience was growing thin but she still held out as much as she could.

Her will became shaken but she remained persistent in her want for a Master. An Aqualish eventually set her two sets of eyes upon the yellow teen, Pilan recognized this master as one that had left without a Padawan before many times. She remembered the first words spoken to her, "In my many years of being a Master I noticed many students come and be picked so quickly, but those Padawans always ended up impatient, but you, you remained persistent. So I congratulate you my Padawan, for passing your first test." This sparked a great partnership between the pair, Pilan the steadfast Mikkian, and the wise Aqualish Master Bimka Sket. Much of the training given to her by her Master utilized the patience of the Mikkian greatly, she was taught in the form of Soresu this form was helpful to Pilan greatly, assisting many missions with her Master. Until one mission had gone wrong.

It was supposed to be a routine checkup on outlying planets in Hutt Space. Master Sket had a deal with one of the hutts to allow them to do their Jedi duties without interference much to the chagrin of Pilan, a deal with the Hutts went strongly against her sense of honor. The Mikkian would have been proven right not to trust them, as the two Jedi were leaving after having given their payment to the Hutt a blast rang out in the Hutt Palace. Pilan sensed what went wrong and quickly defended herself from the next energy shot deflecting it to one of the walls, she tried to grab her Master's attention but it was clear where the first shot had gone. Quickly she scooped up the weakened Aqualish taking her under one of the canopies in the trade market. Pilan was clearly distraught yet as the Aqualish was dying Master Sket was serene. She assured her Padawan that everything will be all right and that her training as a Padawan was finally over. The Aqualish gave her former Padawan her own lightsaber to take back to the Order as a sign of what happened. The Aqualish held her hand to up to the yellow tearful face of her student, "Stay true to who you are and go back to the order, you've done me proud,"and with those parting words, the Aqualish closed her four eyes for the final time. Pilan quickly did what she was told and went back to the order. She had not known why the Hutt betrayed them but she let this be a lesson to herself, to never compromise her honor even if it makes the job easier. The order saw her fit to raise her status to that of a Knight and with her recently claimed title she began training into a secondary lightsaber form of Djem So to round out her repertoire.

In recent times she continues her duties as a Jedi though now she is either going solo or with a group of Knights, lacking the familiar company of her Aqualish master. That missing space where Master Sket was, will be a large void not easily filled.
