Every day, the Sovereignty marches on towards its goal of becoming a bastion of order in a galaxy midst war: more refugees come under the young nations protection, more tense meetings bear hard-won fruits, and more fiends of wild space are forced to flee. These victories do not come easily, nor do the men and women behind them rest easy to achieve them. These men and women, unrelenting and stalwart, stand tall in being responsible for the birth of this nation: as the pillars of our Sovereignty. While the deeds these great minds have made can hardly be repaid, they can be recognized: this is the purpose of the honors and awards system of the Sovereignty.

The Order of the Pillar is an order of chivalry ordained by Sovereign Varik Ice to not only recognize meritorious service not only the Sovereignty, but also potentially to galactic life as a whole. The Order of the Pillar is denoted as an yellow pillar in front of a star of gold and red, representing the "Pillars of our Sovereignty" as the members are described. Membership is available by nomination, which is reviewed by the Archon and Sovereign - who are the Chancellor and Sovereign of the order respectively.

Membership to the Order of the Pillar comes in four degrees, sorted in sequential order of contribution and meritorious service from Knight to Member. Additionally, the Medal of the Order of the Pillar may be awarded where membership may not quite be appropriate; the Medal of the Order of the Pillar is not restricted to government or military personnel and is the medal typically given to civilians for meritious service or contribution.

1. Knight or Dame of the Order of the Pillar (PK/PD);
2. Companion of the Order of the Pillar (PC);
3. Officer of the Order of the Pillar (PO);
4. Member of the Order of the Pillar (PM);
5. Medal of the Order of the Pillar (OPM).

Work in progress.

Next addition should be a more conventional list of medals and commendations.
