Pilot/Astromech droids

I've spent about an hour scouring the marketplace and company forums, looking over all the droid making companies that're out there... Does no one sell a astromech droid or, preferably, a pilot droid? I need one for this character... as he can't fly. Anyone want to point me where I can get one in the marketplace, or should I just say I got one from a npc company? Ty in advance for the help.

(PS: Not sure if I posted this in the right area, if I didn't i'm sorry.)

The top of the line and only astromech I know of is the M1 series astromech by MandalTech.

I'll give you some massive props if you turn that Astromech into a real, breathing character like R2-D2. We need more flesh and blood (metal and circuit) characters. Besides the fact that it can pilot and double as a mechanic, bring it along on some adventures.

I believe you should just create whatever astromech character you want. Take a canon one, and just upgrade it to modern standards...
