Pimp My Avatar

So my current avatar is fairly lackluster, and I'd like that to change. I've tried it on my own, and every time I try, it comes out like trash, so I'm going to be humbly asking the photoshopping, ass-kicking, community of Chaos to help me out.

My parameters? Make it look Sci-fi, cool, or outer-space like. Other than that, I really on't have any guidelines, just do your ebst to follow the criteria above and I will be eternally grateful or your help.
