Pitch - Major Faction App

[Lysle of the Hydian Way]

It is the 13th, and on the 19th we can apply for Major. In just these few short weeks we've been here, we've done so much, achieved so much, and there is so much more out there for us to do. I would like to ask all of you, those who're helping lead this faction, to help me contribute to the pitch of the Major Application. I've worked on the Major application alone, with Cryax supplying some much needed tender loving care to the description to top it off. But I'm reaching out to you guys, why? I don't think I should speak, I think the faction should speak for itself. It is your voice I think Tefka should hear. So please, give some time and thought to this question, and all of your replies will be added to the application when it is posted.

When a faction reaches a point were it becomes a power on a world, it is a natural extension to expand their reach to other worlds. Other criminal organizations will want to align with them in order to strengthen their position and to survive.

As we grow we move from strictly criminal endeavors to more quasi legal endeavors, it is natural we will grow in strength and power.

This faction is not just about a cover up for a criminal organization. Its a way for people of all walks of life, be it lawful or unlawful, can come to one place to fulfill a duty to a group of people looking for the same idea of making a profit off of those who not so fortunate enough to be with us.

The Red Ravens are one of the most active and fastest growing factions on the site. In a few weeks it has already become possibly the most powerful and dynamic minor faction. Not only does it deserve to be able to ply its trade on a larger and more public stage, but a promotion to the list of major factions would benefit the entire role playing community here. The Red Ravens are a unique and headstrong faction whose impact on this site has already been noticeable, and if given the chance its impact will be an even greater net positive for SWRP Chaos.

Here are some of the OOC things that I feel make us unique, if we want to add some of those. Feel free to format anyway you wish:

• Loyalty to members, ICly and OOCly.
• Helpfulness to members, especially new ones.
• Brimming with new ideas and active writers to bring them to life (like Seb's fight club).
• The desire to game fairly and make sure it's fun for the whole board and not just the faction.
• Yes, we're criminals, but we're criminals with a heart.
• The willingness to help writers further their characters story arcs.
• Events and threads that involve the entire community.
• Leadership that takes everyone's voice into account (like this thread)
