Pizzas on opposite sides of the Force

After being back from a business trip to the Commonwealth, Charzon was ready to go to First Order-land for the first time. She knew about Avalonia, but she never went to the First Order capital in person. So, with Marcia, she sets course for Dosuun in an attempt to close the next business deal in her plan to deal with all three factions with her on the New Republic end of the busines. She was more of a Republican than she was a Sanctum member, despite the headquarters being in SSC space, and the parent corporation being named after a Sanctum world. Hopefully Charzon would lay the groundwork for a possible tripartite trade accord between the Commonwealth, the New Republic and the First Order out on the field. By now she was about to re-take the spotlight away from Jessica back on Ringo Vinda. Pizza Hutt has previously had one location in First Order space, Lipsec. Now Dosuun would play host to another Pizza Hutt location.

Since Pizza Hutt's CEO couldn't leave Nal Hutta, he gave me the permission to close deals for Pizza Hutt out of that planet. I assume that you want a supply of pizzas, breadsticks or churros, or perhaps all three at once?

Hey, hey hey. Nice to meet you, the name's Dash Fisko. Just opened up a few sick clubs, looking to provide some side dishes like some rad pizza pie to keep the masses happy ya dig? Heard you can provide pizza, and churros. Let's add that to the list too, I'll throw up a few ads in the club for "Pizza Hutt", payment we can work out on the side, but I figure you provide the pie, and I'll provide the dough, you get what I'm puttin' down?

Glad to be able to do business with ya, let's meet up to sign the paperwork sometime soon, gotta get the clubs up and running soon, give the people what they want, know what I'm sayin? Look forward to doing business with you, see you soon.

CEO, "Avalonian Nights Incorporated"

Dash stood, back propped up against the wall at the spaceport terminal, a loose pair of headphones hanging, ear buds inserted. The loud electronic beats could be heard a good several feet away from the younger man, his head bobbing with the drop of the music. The man was wearing a heavy coat, his hair something out of a horror show. Definitely not one of the upper class, or even middle class. His heavy black boots and black leather gloves painted him an outcast, likely a warehouse or night worker. He was there to cement a business arrangement for his chain of night clubs. He'd work out other deals along the way but hey, who didn't like a steamy cheese pizza from Pizza Hutt every now and then? It would have to do, till he found a better alternative.

He kept listening to the music as he waited for the representative from Pizza Hutt to arrive with the paperwork.

Jessica was more familiar with First Order practices than she was, by virtue of representing Ringovinda StarYards during the summit on Bespin two months ago, mostly coming out of it with orders from individuals concerning either Neimoidian Yachts or AT-AT barges. Charzon went right up in First Order-land herself to endear the while Klesta et al. negotiated the terms of an alliance between all three of the Commonwealth, the New Republic and the First Order. What was for sure was that the Force no longer dictated diplomatic terms, much less economic terms, as it used to. As Charzon's Neimoidian Yacht dropped out of hyperspace and arrived at the "general spacer" section of the Avalonia spaceport, she prepared the paperwork. The last time Lorca the Hutt attempted to supply it was about a catering company that operated food trucks and restaurant ships. This time around it was about a few bars.

"Dash Fisko, I presume? There are arrangements I came here to make, namely the quantity of pizzas and of churros, all of which are frozen, we need to ship out here on a weekly basis"

The man's eyes rose as the woman approached, hastily removing one of the headphones from his ear. He extended a gloved hand, a nefarious grin on his otherwise normal looking features. His hair was something else, a shock of blonde hair, definitely not the normal. He'd been waiting for this moment, the moment he would truly have a small business empire... or at least the start of one. As their hands met, he looked into her eyes, grinning from ear to ear, the beats still loudly blaring. He certainly wasn't subtle, but then again, he didn't have to be. It was the retro-wave movement, everything about it was against the grain, except for the fact that it did stay mostly out of the public eye. Their new Cloud City location would change that though, and he needed food provisions to do so. It was part of the reason he'd contacted the CEO of Pizza Hutt, to provide sustenance and keep his clubs going.

"Dash Fisko, nice to meet ya Ms. Loulan, welcome to Avalonia." He paused. "I hope the flight wasn't to rough?"

"Ah, no, the flight wasn't too rough. Thank the Force we haven't been anywhere near Quintas on our way from Serpena"

Charzon was one busy woman: for most business deals she delegated it to her team, like the COO, the CMO and the general counsel, or even non-board members. But for the special clients, it was there where she had to do the work by herself. She had to go on adventures herself for the major projects, alongside some members of the Design Triumvirate. Charzon could tell instantly that the client was a retro-wave lover, especially after having seen her Miraluka look-a-like having her head smacked by a stray pan hit by a blaster over the holos, upon release of Broken Bones and Breadsticks. And yet, the fledgling Commonwealth, New Republic and Techno Empire, of the latter of which she is a Senator, but the real day-to-day power in the Techno Empire lies in the planetary governors, and the various corporations making up the Empire. The Senate was mostly a body for the faction-wide business.

"I trust that your customers will like the Ziro stuffed crust pizza and the Boorka churros: favorites among the retro-wave on Nar Shaddaa. Pub grub is part of what keeps a club going"

"Good to hear, good to hear." The man raised an eyebrow, removing the still thumping ear bud from his other ear. "Quintas? What's that?"

The man had heard of Serpena but Quintas? Nope. Not registering. Well, must not have been important. He shrugged. No matter, the important part is that his business associate had arrived. It appeared that this would be pretty cut and dry. The people needed food, and the vendor would supply. He would need to clarify a few things, but the paperwork should be fairly simple. He'd need the business for his first two locations in Avalonia and Prosperia. These two locations on Dosuun were the primary outlets but the new club on Bespin would need a more subtle and refined taste.

"Indeed, I think that would be perfect. Though I should mention that I need these delivered to Dosuun only at this point. It'll be our little pilot test. If it takes off, we'll go ahead and expand our distribution to our other locations. Does that sound acceptable?"

He was anxious, the music seemed to help calm him. Absentmindedly he replaced one of the earbuds, the methodical beat calming his nerves.

"Quintas is a black hole"

Avalonian Nights Incorporated was a new entrant in this business of nightclubs, but Charzon knew that her actions would reflect on the relations the New Republic (and also the Silver Sanctum, with a pending request at name changing) with the First Order: commercial ventures crossing sides of the Force were often risky business - at best. Charzon prepares the paperwork once the terms are close to being finalized. Plus the paperwork was mostly a "fill-in-the-blanks" in a datapad that Pizza Hutt used for supplying other restaurants with tasty Pizza Hutt products.

"That seems acceptable: we know that new entrants in a market are often risky ones. If it works on Dosuun, then supply of Pizza Hutt products can be expanded in other areas"
